Sorry guys, I think I unintentionally started this whole derail. I am the main culprit for posting girly pics, but it's never intended as a "dumb broads, only good for eye candy" kind of thing! I don't think anyone here is grossly misogynistic or disrespectful to women, we (OK, I!) just sometimes regress into horny teenager mode. It's meant as entirely innocent titillation and nothing more, just a bullshit way to pass the time.
To be fair, I try to keep pics more SFW these days than I have in the past, but if it makes certain members uncomfortable I shall refrain in future. Or maybe just post them in whatsapp.

The Wolf Among Us is the only TT game I've played. It's pretty spiffing on the story from, not so much technically. I desperately want them to make a Hellblazer game!
I watched the Critikal vids on youtube and yea the story stuff seemed cool but it looked really boring to actually play

I went in assuming it was an interactive movie and that's what I got. The story is so good and so faithful to the Fables setting that I was drawn in.
One character in particular is absolutely magnificent:

And powerful.
A shame, our modern version of her, is built on Hollywood movies, Shakespearean plays, and the good old Romans.

I'm glad that Telltale went back to doing those sort of "smaller" graphic novels, since they started with BONE, and I'd like to see them do more. By which I mean if they ever did an Asterix series I'd be all over it.

The expectations and assumptions people have to work against on a daily basis based on their gender (any gender!) are so tiring.
I think it's harder for women as we're judged on our appearances more openly. Men get it too, I know (and probably more these days too) but yeah, you do always feel a pressure to look nice, be a certain way. I got called bossy today for being assertive yesterday. It was in jest but yeah. At the same time, buying that Xbox 360 in game was a fun experience. Yes, I know what a console is. No, it's for me. No, I want Dark Souls. No, the Prepare To Die edition. That's not it. Yes, I'm aware how DLC works. Etc.
Gendered assumptions. Not a day goes by when I don't hope for the genderless dystopia.

Not to poke at a fresh wound or anything, but for the people keeping score: if you lurked or were around in the old days of the British Isles/ROI community, the issue about salivating over female pictures is basically what got one of the earlier threads closed. Just something to keep in mind. Personally I would rather see more female posters in the thread and posters who might be made uncomfortable by such things. No shame game intended, just would be cool to have more varied discussion. That being said I have been in the wrong sometimes, most recently in regards to the picture hacking scandal. That was pretty dumb in hindsight.

That was a sight to see live. Oh god was that a trainwreck. The high points of the reveal of No Man's Sky did make up for it, as well as the cringeworthy presenting and Reggie's segment. I suppose, for me at least, watching the reveals and the cringeworthy moments live are worth it.

I don't understand the issue of hot on girls being posted as long as it's NSFW, and that's not because of thinking of people at work but just because it's a rule.. I don't understand how it makes them feel uncomfortable, actors can be hot and I always used to declare my love for Clara Osworld with no problems and musha used to post that arrow guy or comment on fit actors all the time when they were posted.
How does it deter women posting? Sex is hardwired into everyone's brain anyway I think it's weird in a thread where we all get pretty deep into our feelings and are very honest with each other to have certain subjects taboo
