Squeeze a baby out, perfect timing. That's what mrs S is gonna do, she also hates her job so is looking at the new-baby doss year (haha) as a time to refocus and look for new stuff to do.
The question of 'how do you get a new career' is impossible though innit? How should we know what we can do for a job?

Yeah, me too! My place give you your birthday off as an incentive for 12 months no sickness, could've taken it Friday but I'm glad I didn't. My Manchester job search starts today, wish me luck!

I bought Wii U Sports Plus yesterday as I loved Wii Sports Golf. The new version is rubbish! By adding Motionplus sensitivity it's ruined the simple fun and turned it into some kind of weird torture.

Father is in town and we're heading off to France tomorrow... Just a 12-6 shift then I am a free man, I'm gonna take my running shoes too so hopefully I can clear my lungs of all the shite I have clogged then up with in the last fortnight.. Will also get some time away from gaf.. might help a bit

Well yeah I plan on doing this too, but that still means I have to spend the next nine months or more in this sucky job.
If I didn't have responsibilities and bills to pay I would, unfortunately if I just quit here and get a job elsewhere I'll still be stuck in the same industry.

Afternoon all! Sorry I've been very quite on the socialising front, hope everybody is doing okay.
I'm just posting to say that my friend's Doodle Club in Portsmouth's King Street Tavern pub is happening again this coming Thursday - come along if you're in the local area, everybody is welcome! Just get drunk and draw any old shit, you don't have to be an artist to take part, just enjoy throwing dumb ideas down onto paper or card and hanging out with cool people.

There's not a whole lot to understand about it. You see something you like, you reblog it, people moan at you for reblogging it, they send you messages accusing you of 'body shaming' because you posted a photo of an attractive female, wash, rinse, repeat.

It actually can be providing you find the right blogs to follow. I follow fifty or so and converse with the bloggers daily. Met a fair few of them in real-life. You just have to learn to deal with the pricks.

I've spent most of the day playing CoD and Soul Sacrifice. I'm starting to feel like I know what I'm doing a little bit more now. A bit.

I've had my Steam account since late 2009, barely used it. But now I can finally say that I've finished one of my many Steam games, that being the PC Port of Final Fantasy VIII. Using the mods made it better to playthrough.
Next up is... something. I've got AssCreed 4, Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut and Darksiders 2 to play, so I might have a go at one of those.
