Less focus is very vague / generic. Could mean many things without there being many noticeable changes.

I personally believe something more significant will change sooner than later. Just a gut feeling because it looks like a business model that is highly dependent on scale to me, and I don't think they are very close to the scale they were hoping for when they went all in.

That's a really pertinent point. I have both systems and tend to favour the Sony machine. But there has been an opportunity this generation that Xbox has failed to take advantage of.

No way to tell on Hi-Fi. It definitely never hit the top 10 in the us on PSN. But SoT hasn’t dropped out of the top 5 pre-orders since it went up and the $60 edition is still #1 now that DD2 and Ronin are out.

I played on PC it's laughable how people try to pretend it's the same or similar. I've never witnessed outright cheating on consoles. I've seen it so much on PC I lost count. Logging in every day to Rainbow Six Siege and having my ranked adjusted because someone cheated on my team or I played against cheaters. I'm not exaggerating when I say every single day this was happening to me. I saw people shooting through walls as well and then apologizing to the team.

It's the best option without a doubt. If you can stand all the BS that comes with PC gaming. I can't so I went back to consoles but PC gaming when it comes to software is just on top of the world right now.

If you know how to shop and optimize performance you get a premium experience at a small markup. You can get that for much less than a grant unless you can't follow directions or refuse to assemble anything.

P.S. Even if big console can hit 60 they can't maintain it on console.

People building are largely going to put most of their budget into the best gpu they can afford. These definitions of low-mid-high end pc's are getting a little crazy for me. Are you considering a $500-$600 card mid-tier? Because that is enough to get you beating consoles handily. If so, where does high end start? Even if it starts at 4080, you have several hundreds of more dollars to go for a 4090 so why would you not simply afford that?
