Win out and they are in

Bama/FL
Ohio State
Clemson
Okie State

Big debate would be Oklahoma and Notre Dame winning out

e: heh

Not confident in OSU gaining any decent ranking after that win today. If anything they take Stanford's spot and OU takes their spot.

Iowa HAS to drop though, they've got a jobber schedule left and had too close of a game to inspire any confidence that they earned their position.

My Lobos are one half away from our first bowl eligibility since 2007. A road win against Boise State would be incredibly huge.

These WashSt-UCLA commentators are fucking morons. That was a clear fumble, and they're just like "NO. NO. NO WAY. NO."

Still complaining about it.

that's even more embarassing... the fucking conference can't manage something as simple as this? Jesus

With the way that commercial is shot it seems like it was some situation where the conference asked the schools to film commercials locally and then send in the results.

Between the video quality and the shots/angles chosen (the computer screen, the part where he's sitting on the statue's lap, him sitting on the bench just looking around) it looks too much like a cheap local business commercial for me to be able to believe that the conference itself was in charge of the filming.

Gotta love Mike Leach. Back up QB in the game? Throw the ball on every play!

His stubbornness is possibly his greatest strength and his greatest weakness.

The offense he runs is the offense he runs, whether he's up by 20, down by 20, playing a starter, playing a third stringer, whatever.

You're right. But what makes it bad is because someone decided that it looked okay and put the conference logo on it and HOLY SHIT ROUSEY LOST.

The real question is, why don't you CDY?

And the answer to this question would be this...

That will keep Oklahoma out if it's down to ND and the Sooners

Didn't matter for tOSU last year, but ND would generate higher ratings and more revenue so that would be the deciding factor.

What's surreal is that there have been two close replays against UCLA but there's like no reaction from the fans. You barely hear any booing or anything. Basically quiet acceptance or indifference it seems.

Pac-12 playoff hopes completely dead now.

edit: P5 teams with 1 or 0 losses

ACC
Clemson
UNC

Big 12
Oklahoma State
Oklahoma
TCU
Baylor

Big 10
Ohio State
Iowa
Michigan State

SEC
Alabama
Florida

Other
Notre Dame

How much has the sport changed in 2 years? A Pac-12 team will still go to the Rose Bowl, yet the league is basically irrelevant rest of way.

Enormous day for @OU_Football -- as #s 6,7,9,10 ALL lose. Sooners will vault from 12 into instant serious contention w/ complete team W

Hot takes.

If a 2 loss team can make the 2 team BCS MNC, a 2 loss team can make the CFP*

*Must be in the SEC

To be fair that was because there was only one team from a BCS conference with one loss that year, even if it wasn't LSU it would've just been another 2 loss team from a different conference (well, except Kansas, but they didn't win their division and also beat nobody).

I mean maybe if Stanford beats Notre Dame? Still seems unlikely.

even with Stanford>Notre Dame they would still need a non-SEC conference to completely implode

Right, Stanford probably needs UCLA and Utah to win out so that they get a decently ranked CCG opponent and they would also need the Big 12 and one of the ACC or B1G to collapse.

So yeah.
