I just beat the Forgelands and unless the game take huge down turn that doesn't sound right at all.

Audrey has her reasons, but after seeing some games she's given really high scores to, I don't particularly put much stock into anything she says, or any score she gives. But like I said, she has her reasons and you can't fault someone for not liking what you like. My tastes just don't seem to match up with hers that often.
Perhaps someone told her it was the newest Zelda. =)

I had no time to do anything but boot up the game and get disappointed that the options were as limited as the first, though.
I'd love some nvidia inspector settings if someone's got them. I guess the values for the first game will work if I want my SGSSAA?
I hate PC gaming.

If you have a controller then it's a free way to try the game out and should be no different to the console. *shrug*

Yeah this 7.5 (from my very quick look) seems like the odd one out. Most looked higher. Honestly though it seems like sometimes the best games received average to slightly above average scores.

Par for the course for GT reviews, honestly.
THQ didn't offer IGN a chance to put one of their staff members in the game so they lost points for that.

It seems that the story may be the weakest part of this game. GI also thought it wasn't good.

Excited to play this game loved the first and the improvements made look great. Hope this gets thq some needed cash.
There are no options except vsync (which doesn't work, in game at least) and resolution.
Some people including me have a micro stutter effect due to forcing vsync/triple buffering either through the GPU control panel or d3doverrider.
Other than that I'm getting 60 fps constant on my average/slightly above average computer.

It is not like I'm jumping to defend this game, but Audrey Drake really does have a history of being quite terrible.

Anyone figured out how to change FOV in the PC version?
Phil certainly didn't have anything bad to say about the graphics. Darksiders 2 is a pretty beautiful game on consoles.
I'm going to have to wait for you guys to play the game and give me your two cents. IGN gives it a 7.5 while GI and Destructoid give it a 9, what the heck ? I usually trust Jim Sterling, but he he's screwed up plenty of times before. IGN's review is quite harsh, but it may be more truthful.

Anyone else having trouble getting the promo weapons for linking your account? I can't access codes for Van Der Schmash & Mace Maximus despite linking my 360 version to THQs site.
Solid, could be better though. Character textures are ugly at times, especially up close in cinematics.

There are gliches guys I've found a bunch in my first 5 hours just goofing around trying to break the game on purpose. Of course they don't really happen unless you either play awkward as well or look for them on purpose

Indeed it is in my book. They also gave a 7.5 to Lords of Shadow and it ended up being one of my favorite games of the gen.
