Got 2 RoRG from 5 bags. So now I have 4 of them with shitty stats that I got in like 48 hours.

Good I found the last piece for marauder so I don't need it right now.

Edit: Also, what's up with that insane damage?

Should I be saving my caches and opening them in a T6 instance?

Also all these green set pieces don't give me any + in stats and some of the bonus' I don't use.

Going for a green set might not always look better on the profile damage. It might go down as much as 100K damage if you are unlucky with the rolls, but in the end a good set will have some great effects that outweighs the small damage loss. My damage number went down a bit when I got my marauder set, but I doubled my actual damage because I can use 2 more sentry turrets.

Also, changing difficulty doesn't matter on the cache. It's tied to the difficulty you got it on.

Secret monk-fu abilities ;)

Flying Dragon + Harrington

Actually hit 9m a few mins later but didn't grab a screenie.

And another 3 T6 caches, another 2 ammy's and skelly shoulder...that'd be 6/6 but still no new RoRG :(

@Neo: My pants are just some crappy crafted Capt Crim ones. Still trying for some new Hexing Pants since I found mine on PTR...

Ah, I see.

And I think you are guaranteed a legendary on T6 now. Did maybe 8 myself with a friend and both got one in each cache.

Btw, some input on my DH would be nice. This is what I've managed to get after a few days of playing DH (Was mainly a wizard before 2.1). http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/xyber-2172/hero/36109818

I want to find a better SoJ, it rolled pretty bad and had to roll away 20% poison damage to use it now. Will probably put another diamond gem in the pants since I'm still a bit squishy.

Just did 2 T2 act 1 bags and somewhere around 8 T1 bags, not a single leg of any kind. Buff is not real :(
I did the same thing as you, I got 8 legendaries out of 10 bags and one of them was a RoRG.

Unfortunately it was an Intelligence RoRG for my Barbarian but still the drop rate is super buffed.

Whoa, just bought RoS for $20 on sale (gamestop, if anyone is interested), and am shocked how much more fun this is than vanilla D3 from 2 years ago. It's like a totally different game. I had 3 legendaries drop tonight and my character has entirely new gear than from my vanilla days.

Today was a good day. Got a terrible RoRG like everyone else and I got precisely the only specific weapon I wanted in this bad ass mofo right here

I can't think of too many things I want and it hasn't even been a week haha

My off-season barb is crying

Is there a thread just for PS3/360 players of the UEE version of Diablo 3. It would be nice to give these extra legendaries to friends on PS3 version but none of mine are playing Diablo 3 :(

Diablo 3 servers are busy. Anyone else getting that?

Did one of those greater rift things. Level 18, it was fucking crazy for my build. no idea how many times I died.

Yay got to Level 70

Thanks to diablogaf community ^_^

On paragon 8 now

And trying to do torment 1 ... Still gets obliterated

Rifts are hard ... Bounties wtf .. And Kadala RNGjesus wtf

I'm probably just shit at builds and etc :(

What?

a) There is no seasonal class set and b) the point is to open up new build possibilities. Just because you don't want to use the set doesn't mean no one does.

RoRG bonus is pretty nuts, must've seen 20 of them in the clan feed last night. I finally got a (terrible) dex one with just two bags. Good stuff. I might actually try to get a decent one for my Crusader now.

Wyatt Cheng commented about the new bounty legendary drop rate scaling:

@uniqlol chance of legendary from bounty cache goes from ~50% at torment 2 to guaranteed at torment 6.

So yeah, I think it's here to stay. Crazy! I was staying up late farming my RoRG just in case they changed their minds. Hmm, time for me to take another look at those bounty legendaries in other acts. Hmm, maybe that charm amulet from act 3.

I like that it was buffed, but guaranteed rates seems too high for a game where the loot chase IS the game like Diablo. I've DEed more RORGs last night than I've ever seen in total before the hotfix.

Completely forgot to check on other Act bounties... that looks strictly better than Leoric's too, and since it's farmable, should yield a good neck faster than alternatives.

Yeah, RoRG farming just went from weeks to hours. I can see why people who put a ton of time into getting theirs would be upset. Oh well, water under the bridge. I think it was a good call. The loot hunt's still there, it's just shifted from trying to get one at all to trying to get a really good one.

For anyone doing their hunting today, I'd say split farming is still king, even on T6. Do at least T2 for the 50% chance.

Overwhelming Desire is looking like a very solid choice actually.
- 626-750 primary stat
- Attack Speed Increased by 5.0–7.0%
- Reduces cooldown of all skills by 5.0–8.0%
+2 Random Magic Properties
Chance on hit to charm the enemy. While charmed, the enemy takes 35% more damage.

Here's a list of the other bounty legendaries:

http://www.diablohub.com/database/sorting/bounty-bags/

Here's another good one in Act 3:
Avarice Band: Each time you pick up gold, increase your Gold and Health Pickup radius by 1 yard for 10 seconds, stacking up to 30 times.
combo with Boon of the Hoarder for crazy pickup radius while doing bounties and regular rifts.
(remember Gold Find too - it can roll pretty high. I saw someone with 500% on their profile)

Act 5:
Helltrapper: 7–10% chance on hit to summon a Spike Trap, Caltrops or Sentry
- Maybe a way to get Sentries out faster with M6? Probably not going to beat Kridershot, Calamity or the other popular ones, but it could be a good stopgap.

Ooh that avarice band will be good for my gold farming WD!

What would you possibly need gold for at this point? Just find a goblin vault, get 200m and never need gold again.

well, I've found the vault 4 times, and I've farmed since then and I have 760 million gold thank you. I just like the satisfaction from the Boon of the hoarder explosion of gold. :3

And also trying to get the right enchants on items get expensive when it starts costing 500,000 gold per roll

also rolling sockets in my jewelry, completely regearing a wizard, and switching my sader to holy shotgun costs a lot in enchants

I like that it was buffed, but guaranteed rates seems too high for a game where the loot chase IS the game like Diablo. I've DEed more RORGs last night than I've ever seen in total before the hotfix..

Bounties were in a very poor place compared to rifts/grifts in terms of item rewards. Now you have:

Bounties, which give ridiculous XP and a high frequency of items from a limited pool, but no blood shards and no progression on your legendary gems.
Nephalem Rifts, which give good XP, very high numbers of blood shards per hour, and a wide range of items.
Greater Rifts, which give decent everything at higher levels of scaling, and at lower levels of scaling allow you to upgrade gems for massive boosts in character potency.

It seems like a good balance. I think people might be underselling the XP component of bounties-I did about 25 sets of T6 bounties (at 9 minutes each for a full set) solo since the hotfix (still no ring, lol) and the XP was crazy. Yes, you can get items, but most are roleplayers and they can just add new items to the game in case something is always best in slot.

Eventually that 83% CHD you rolled on your amulet isn't going to be good enough. And in those times you're very likely go burn through millions rerolling to get something optimal there.

Like everything else in Diablo, the higher you want to go the more resources (time, gold) you are going to need to throw at the problem. Eventually you're going to be like that arabian dude at the casino gif .

Also, pro tip on cash in the short term-keep a ring (I use a trashy nagelring) with boon of the hoarder around if doing bounties. It's worth a swap into when you get a chest bounty with the timer and the 100 kill threshold. Especially on T6 it is tons of easy money.

Been there done that, but I ran out of crystals before anything else, and am getting low on Souls(<50) and Topazes(<300). I still have 400m gold though, not an issue at all.

I'm just not sure I can bring myself to reroll my 20% holy on Amulet and SoJ to a socket or not. I really want to use the smite gem, but I'd have to replace one of my +holy mods for it. It's probably worth it I guess, but it hurts after finally getting them to 20%.

I can't. Worst part of the game easily knowing I basically had to do it for each character at some point.

Ok, I haven't played in a while. Are there any Crusader builds that are considered the best? Or Barbarian?

[US GAF Clan / Community]

Edit: Never mind, too much pushback. Will figure something else out.

Previously posted:
Executive decision time.

The few convenience features a clan offers over a community aren't worth the conflict the tiered setup has created. People who would be "demoted" from clan to community with an upcoming purge would be (rightly) upset.

This is a game people naturally play in bursts, and stuff happens in real life where people should feel free to set the game aside without fear of losing something.

There are so many variables involved in deciding who stays and goes that every case is a judgement call that would leave someone unhappy. I have an out-of-town vacation coming up in a week and I haven't been able to come up with a set of guidelines which would allow officers to make those calls with confidence, and I don't want to put people in that position of dealing with the fallout as people come back and are asking why they were removed instead of so-and-so, etc etc.

Until there are some real in-game benefits to clans (e.g. clan level, perks, clan castle, etc), the group as a whole is better served by a community.

If anyone feels that a community is intolerable and a clan is absolutely necessary, step up and I'll hand over the reins. Otherwise, here's the plan:

Tonight:
- MOTD update to let people know the GAF community is the new primary group and the clan is being retired
- Roster spreadsheet enhanced with a lot more info to serve as a replacement for the in-game roster

Tomorrow night:
I'll remove everyone from the clan and transfer ownership to one of my alt accounts to keep the clan tag parked for future use.

Call for officers:
We can have up to 25 officers. I know our officers in the clan have been hesitant to make any changes for the reasons I've discussed above. The role on the community side is much simpler - make sure people requesting invitations are on the spreadsheet with their GAF user name. If anyone's interested, send me a PM.

------------------------------------------------------
How to join the US GAF community
(existing clan members are already on the spreadsheet - just request the invite in game)
