If the controller is xinput like X360/One controller, it is automatically detected. Some games even already have pre configured inputs. Some others you need to configure yourself. But it is very ease.

There are gonna be people out there that are going to play the HELL out of this. I am not one of them. I love Diablo, but to me a whole lot of this just looks and feels off.

The whole thing there was more a marketing issue than a game issue. He was sent in front of a crowd of mainly PC gamers. People were hyping themselves for Diablo 4. It comes for the « One more Thing » part, which is normally the best announcement.
And it's a mobile phone that probably very few wanted in the crowd present at this event.

I know, and Blizzard should have known that as well. When Diablo fans knows there's a Diablo reveal coming, then you don't show off a mobile game to them. You simply dont.

It's Blizzard, it will be horrendous. This thing isn't for the west, even though I'm sure it'll do fine here, it's China where it'll be huge. They love this stuff.
