my one slight criticism is no Brigadier, but that could well be brigade leader from inferno in front of Tennant:

Ridiculous, sometimes there's no pleasing anyone.

Also People on GB suggesting when Matt says years, sounds like Mcgann echoed him? and that they could show the trailer again with surviving Doctor's doing the voice over? That would explain Mcgann's tweet. (clutching at straws here)
I thought the same thing. I am 95% sure that this is what that was for.

I think it's more likely that it's John Hurt without his Jacket.

loved it. I'm sure someone will go frame by frame and get all the references, but a quick look on youtube:

policeman and junkyard - An Unearthly Child
Fez
10th Doctors screwdriver
1st doctor
dalek shooting an army dude - Remembrance?
2nd doctors sonic
2nd doctor in tibet - The Abominable Snowmen
4th doctor
jelly babies
4th doctors sonic
K9 and sarah jane
The Dalek Invasion of Earth
80s cybermen
3rd Doctor and Delgado master
Clara and her leaf
Weeping angel
5th Doctor
Robot from Robots of Death
Davros
6th doctor
More cybermen
rose ?
9th doctor
ood
auton
PAUL MCGANN
Bessie
10th Doctor
11th Doctor and sonic

Oooh, great work. I caught a Laser Screwdriver by Matt's hand right when he grabs his sonic.

Great trailer. I think it's good enough to keep me going until the episode.

So many little things to pick out. No Amy and Rory reference(s) as far as I can tell, though.

Jenna-Louise Coleman looking stunning as usual.

And that music. Damn. I'm hoping we get a special intro with that same composition for the special.

Spotted Amy just behind Nine, you can barely see her.

Its Hurt, bandolier ( and laser pistol?)

you can see the bandolier here

Nice, I was wondering if they were going to stick him in, I couldn't figure out who the figure was and assumed I just didn't recognise him, probably because we haven't seen Hurt without his jacket, lol.

Wow, the music in that trailer is so damn good. Insanely well-done. Gets the hype train going even harder, while giving next to nothing away about what the actual 50th anniversary episode will cover. In fact, if they release one that shows anything from the actual episode, I may not watch it. This one was too perfect.

Fantastic!

EDIT: Also, seeing Sarah Jane made me both extremely happy, and very sad. So glad they brought Sladen back with 10 before she passed away. It would have been wonderful to have her in this special. Also, K-9! :D

EDIT 2: Haha, gonna keep editing as I watch it more. Anyone able to see if Clara's reflection in that glass ball is actually her? The two certainly have different expressions. It looks like her reflection but with a different expression. It could potentially be two different people, but not sure who else it could be.
Also, for those that are angry about things potentially being left out, keep in mind this show has 50 years of history to crawl through, and the trailer is only a minute long. Something is gonna be left out :p

The part where Matt says "The Day of the Doctor", the music reminded me of the neverending drums that tormented the Master. o_O

Nice teaser. Little more than one month away. At least, Bluray giftset will come sooner so we will something to ease our suffering. :)

What's the black robot thing that says "D84" on it? I noticed a Silent behind it, casting off the arc lightning (I thought it was the Master at first).

Surprised there wasn't a Zygon appearance too. And what's the timer behind Eccleston on the floor?

And what's the timer behind Eccleston on the floor?

From here.

That number. It had us foxed for a bit (to the point where we wondered if it spelled something when viewed upside-down). And then we realised: it’s the time and date of broadcast for the first episode of Doctor Who. According to the official paperwork, An Unearthly Child episode one, began transmission on the BBC at 17.16 and 20 seconds, on November 23, 1963. And that, after all, is why we’re still here…

time the first episode aired: 5:16pm nov 23rd

Also really surprised there is no Brigadier. Seems like a glaring omission.

Brigade leader is in front of Tennant

That's definitely the Brig in front of Tennant. The clothes don't match Hurt at all, the bandolier matches and that's it.

Plus he looks like he's holding a gun.

Looks like Hurt with his jacket off to me, and looks like he's standing off against 10. Could fit with his character if he's holding a weapon, the Doctor doesn't use guns but he doesn't deserve the Doctor name.

It would make a lot of sense to include him in this too.

I don't think that can be the Brigade Leader.
I mean why use a weird alternate version of the Brigadier for a start?

And the gun he's holding doesn't look like an earth pistol.

The echo of another voice is very clear in the first part of the trailer and definitely sounds like McGann.

Ood if this is what he was talking about.

Oh... by the Brig, I mean the Brigadier. Not his Inferno counterpart. But I was getting mixed up between the two appearance wise, so yes, it's not the Brigadier, and it's very very likely not the Brigade Leader either.

I think its 95% guaranteed to be John Hurt (minus coat)

I am salty about lack of Brigadier.

McGann shoved off into a corner. Least you could see him. We get Colin Baker's back, and I assume McCoy was in that mess of 80's and 90's doctors somewhere, but I didn't see him.

Why do they always give McGann the smallest cameos?? He's alive and in decent shape, he should be getting the biggest cameos :(

No jack harkness, Sad.

While he might have had a spin off series and been in a number of episodes, there are characters that have been far more prominent in Doctor Who that weren't in the trailer, and to be honest it really isn't surprising he isn't in there, you barely see some of the actual Doctors.

Ok BBC, you win this round. That was an incredible trailer. Obviously not everyone was going to get a large dose of limelight given the short running time, but given that constraint I thought it was excellent. Amazing theme remix too.

Am I crazy or is the Clara+11th opening theme (the one used since Snowmen) easily the best one as of yet? From the new bunch, I mean.

I'm probably the only person in the world who thinks the movie theme is the best one of them all. But I really do like the latest opening, much more than any of the other NuWho themes.

"Favourite" is a strong word, but I've always really loved the TV Movie theme. Actually, the entire soundtrack is pretty great, I think Debney did an excellent job overall.

Certainly looks like the Brigaide Leader, but it just seems a really really strange character to put in such a prominent location in the video that I don't think it's him.
