I know. Amy drooling over Jack. Rory getting mad about it. And Jack wanting Rory which will make Rory even more upset.

But then you have Rory continuously killing Jack for hitting on Amy.

Don't forget The Doctor suddenly feeling a strange bit of unexpected jealousy over the attention Jack is getting from Amy.

The fact that The Doctor would not be getting ANY attention from anyone. Jack would flirt with the Doctor, then see Amy and flirt with her. Amy would love it which makes Rory mad. Rory confronts Jack, then Jack starts to flirt with Rory.

I would find it more entertaining if Jack was more interested in Rory.

Agreed. After all, Rory is the pretty one.

I suppose the idea is now we're paranoid about them all dying and builds up hype.

"And finally for tonight, Steven Moffat comments that he thinks River Song WILL return to #DoctorWho!"

Nooooooo

Awesome news!

I love River and Amy and Rory. I'll miss them.

I guess.

Maybe she will be the companion in the last half of the season or something.

MY guess is that we follow River in the Tardis for a bit for some reason. That's the "heartbreaking" part of Rory and Amy not being companions, they leave the Doctor for a bit and go with River for some reason. Most likely to help save her somehow.

I would travel to BBC studios and picket out front if this happens.

I'm sticking with my prediction of the season ending with a big reset button where the Doctor loses River as the woman he loves but gives Amy and Rory the chance to actually raise their daughter.

... probably the best of the recent Who designs

I just got a 50 dollar amazon gift card from work-and I'm debating on what Doctor Who swag to order for myself. The Season 6 Blu Ray? Time Lord Psychic Container? Desktop Patrol Dalek?

I don't think any of the Moffat episodes since he took over have been as good as the ones he wrote during the RTD era. I guess it's just because he has to write so many more in a year now.

The Eleventh hour is up there with his best, very funny (Patrick Moore) I'm not sure when we'll get a SM episode as good as that again in the new series.

I think it's because he's focusing on arcs rather than individual episodes, personally.

Just noticed that the S6 Soundtrack is on Spotify. Need to listen into, but I love "The Majestic Tale (Of a Madman in a Box)". Awesome variant of the doctor theme.

I still think 'The Big Bang' is one of the best things ever. Along with 'Eleventh Hour'. 'Day of the Moon' is also incredible and 'Wedding of River Song' went up lots on my second viewing, once I wasn't expecting it to answer absolutely everything. And the sheer gall of the flippant way the beach reveal works turned from infuriating to somehow joyous.

I thought it was terrible - he turns the entire human race into mindless killers. Generally I've found the second parts of the two-parters to be disappointing.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
I think Doctor Who might be the most decisive show... ever.

Side 1: We love Rose!
Side 2: We hate Rose!
Side 1: David Tennant is the best Doctor ever!
Side 2: David Tennant isn't all that great.
Side 1: Donna is the best companion of New Who
Side 2: Donna is annoying shrill idiot.
Side 1: Matt Smith is amazing!
Side 2: Matt Smith is an ugly bastard. Bring back David!
Side 1: I love River Song!
Side 2: River Song is a horrid Mary Sue that should die.
Side 1: A Christmas Carol was sweet and charming.
Side 2: A Christmas Carol was a horrid wankfest that breaks established rules.

I think you mean divisive?
And yeah, it really is. I think some of it is down to how hilariously variable the quality has been over the years.
