Keep an eye out in August: We’ll have a new roadmap, more looks at the game, and our official release date!

Our panel ended with a crowd Q&A, but SDCC was just getting started. Our team spent the rest of the weekend giving away posters and exclusive Discord pins, signing those posters, and of course, meeting fans out on the show floor. Footage of the full panel should be available in a couple weeks, so for now we hope you enjoy these photos of our favorite SDCC moments! We’ll have more to share next month – including a new roadmap, more looks at the game, and our official release date (!) – so don’t forget to follow our BioWare and Dragon Age social channels.

i, on the other hand, went from retard to 'wait for impressions'. the more i've seen/heard of the game, the more i've been put off (for several reasons, the 'billion lines of dialogue' thing - all about quantity rather than quality - being the most recent)...
I suck toes and lick paint.

Nothing of the game so far looks awful but not brilliant.

If reviews are abysmal I’m out. Looks like a decent romp with EA subscription for trying it out for a month,

Roadmap? It’s a fucking single player game. It doesn’t need a roadmap.
They man mean roadmap to launch.

Like “gameplay trailers for classes this day”, “demo this day” “early access here for giga chad edition” “regular launch here”

Goddamn I’m so jaded from all these studios dumping out post-launch roadmaps for every single product that I can’t even tell anymore.

Nobody cares about anything other than release date.

It's awful what DA has become.

I would care about a demo with it carrying over to release or a character creator I can do and import to full game.

But ok.

Writes a lot, says very little
EA likes to release these type of games between the end of October and first half of November, so the game would be out before Black Friday
True, from what I seen it looks really good, I just don't have much time and already got so many games planned to play anyway.

Might end up playing it next year or something.

I'm waiting for post-launch impressions and may pick it a year or two later when it's on sale. Not really a big fan of what they're doing with this game, but some stuff feels interesting (like more linear levels instead of bloated open zones) and setting the game in more regions of DA world than just one or two countries. Plus I'm curious how they will wrap up Solas's story

Every new piece of info they’ve revealed makes me less and less interested

“Everyone is canonically pansexual”

“Full nudity for the first time in the series”

“First DA game where the combat is actually fun”

“Hired a sex noise specialist”

“Most lines of dialog in a BioWare game”

That’s on top of the cringe trailer that got ratio’d to hell. Seems like a total marketing disaster. Who is this game supposed to be for?

I just finished a play through of Inquisition to prepare for Veilguard but I’m definitely in “wait and see” mode

Roadmap means dlc and season content

As for the decision to make it into a bizarro porn simulation. Eek.

I'll replay Jade Empire and Dragon Age origins instead

Bg 3 had an order of magnitude more than that. Hailed as the greatest game of the gen.

Anyway, its probably mid to late october. Day 1 along with whenever Avowed is out.

Me to.. I've already ( and greatly enjoyed) the other games so this one gets an auto day one pass from me .🤷‍♂️

Kinda the same. Unless its a dumpster fire like andromeda or anthem was. Gonna wait for impressions thats for sure

they're boasting about sheer quantity of dialogue, which has no inherent value whatsoever. it could as likely be vast amounts of repetitive cringe as it could be anything else. quantity of dialogue's just a pretty lame/dumb selling point, imo. that the developer puts a value on it says more about them than the quality of the game...

Seriously, did anybody play Dragon Age Inquisition and say “man, I hope Dragon Age 4 has even more dialog!!”

It’s just so weird all the stuff they’re choosing to emphasize in their interviews about this game. None of those things are selling points to me.
