What do these microtransactions do exactly?
Wait you have to pay to fast travel?Fast Travel& Change your character apperance
Oh that sucks then!Fast Travel& Change your character apperance
Wait you have to pay to fast travel?
But how does that even make sense lol? I just searched a bit and apparently you need those Rift Crystals to fast travel and these are rare but, you can pay for them. No, but you can

So fast travel requires a rare, very limited resource that can be purchased?
Such a basic thing shouldn’t be monetized. What next? Limited amount of stamina to sprint that you can replenish by buying a super rare potion?Pretty much, you pay $5 and you get 10 teleport crystals
Obtainable in game. But still sucks.Wait you have to pay to fast travel?
Red orbs never really bothered me as they can be farmed easily and indefinitely.Devil May Cry 4 & 5 have the same type of MTX with Red Orbs. This has been a thing forever in Itsuno games.
Wait, so the devs said that fast travel was purposefully left out because they wanted people to experience the world. Then they go and sell fast travel. WTF?!? Makes me want to refund.
Will that slight advantage truly matter in the end or is it just low hanging fruit at launch? We’ll see.In Dark Arisen, there are only 5 portcrystals you can find in the first playthrough, if DD2 is the same then the extra DLC item does offer an advantage.
Probably no, but it is bad sign that they are doing such practice. A small leak will eventually sink the ship. Will that slight advantage truly matter in the end or is it just low hanging fruit at launch? We’ll see.
I was about to say this too. Creating an issue and supplying a solution is beyond scummy. If I recall correctly these stones are things you can put down at certain points to be able to fast Travel too at any time in the game. So I'd like to know can you only buy 1 of these or an unlimited amount because that would completely go against the arguments they've made about fast travel.Wait, so the devs said that fast travel was purposefully left out because they wanted people to experience the world. Then they go and sell fast travel. WTF?!? Makes me want to refund.
The microtransactions, perhaps. But being able to start a new game seems pretty necessary, especially in a game where there are a bunch of different classes to try. From what i see, these are not necessary to enjoy the game, still sucks though.
What a steaming turd this game launches as. Can't understand people buying, let alone preordering this.
Just buy it when it's like 20 USD and all this shit has been patched out.
Looking at the mtx price for buying crystals, it's cheaper to inch your way buying packs of 500 crystals than buying 1500 or 2500 bigger packs.
In a review they have said that they have level capped after like 15hrs so I think is pretty easySave scummers on suicide watch.

Play the game and stop overthinking everything. You can change your build throughout the game, reviews mentioned it. Seems like its required at times based on what Dreamcast guy said.
These microtransactions are par for the course with Capcom they even have all kinds of random items for RE. Been this way for nearly a decade, if not longer.
You are assuming EVERY "modern" game does this......Unicorn Overlord just came out and didn't have any of this even tho Vanillaware run out of money making this game.I really don't like modern gaming, man.
Does this work? I dont have the game, but a Reddit thread has a guy that says this. Maybe this works?Wait, what? You can't create a new character, ever?
That's the dumbest shit ever. Now I'm glad I was too busy to pick the game up today.
From what I've read, you have to go onto your console/PC and manually delete all saves.
The thing with the save files is even worse to me than all of the other shit we've been hearing.
You can start a new game but delete the characterAn option to pay for fast travel? Revolutionary, the creativity, Capcom has done it again, they cant miss.
Its not that big of a deal, but adding mtx after the reviews and not being able to start a new game is.
