On Grace mode you don't even need periapts. I killed it in Grace with regular bow with a lvl 50 Assasin.
But Grace mode is over yeah, it last like 10-15 mins (I though it was 30).

Man I spent all day fighting Ur on and off, I think I actually burned myself out on the game finally haha. I might do a speedrun of BBI just to get to 200 tomorrow, I'm very close. Feels like I've really exhausted the content. But I can't complain, I've put more hours into it than I ever thought I would.
I'm pretty sure only the rare versions of the level 3 armors will have bonus augments all of the time.

Yesss got the Ur-Dragon! Thanks guys! I wasn't even in the grace period at all the first time, I thought it was, but it was a bar and a half. But this time he had no HP left, and I just needed to whack a bit on two red hearts. Got the loot.
Except for the materials, since they're stuck under its corpse... lol. My pawn picked up one putrid scale but that's it. xD

The old city in Post-Damian can turn into the craziest shit ever. At some point it was me on a rooftop, fighting 2 lightning wyverns and a zombie dragon, while the building was surrounded by living armors.
Plus I had my first instance of an enemy casting Maelstrom at me. It threw my pawns around and killed them, plus it kept trying to drag me into the center. I couldn't see shit.

Go to NG+ first, it's better to do BBI after seeing the whole story.
That means it doesn't have a passive trait.
Ah it's not about that. I already completed the game and Dark Arisen on 360.
It's just that I wanted to do some quests boards involving the new enemies but strangely I didn't get any new quest board on the Alehouse and the Pawn guild even though I'm sure there were supposed to be new ones....

So I just picked up a goblin to feed it to a cyclops in that female bandit camp quest but I couldn't move while grabbing him. 
At some point the goblin vanished before I made it to the Cyclops. Why can't I move? I checked and I wasn't overencumbered apparently.

I did the offline Ur-Dragon for the achievement and washed my hands of the damn thing.
BBI gear is better and easier to get a hold of anyway.

Yep I did. I'm basically done with the Everfall too (have the 20 wakestones).
It's weird because I had new ones in Cassardis (killing gorechimera, for example) but nothing on Soren. I'm starting to think it got bugged or something...

If you can climb up them, their helmets are pretty easy to knock-off. Then it's just a matter of several arrows to the eye.
Unless of course you're a Mystic Knight like I usually am. =/
Still, even with archers the Elders are pain. The range on their club is ridiculous and they're always running around swinging.

LOL no. It's just the Devilfire drake, and I am using two fighters with Almace (ice longsword). This was the first time I tried killing it with two melee, and I thought "Wow, this is actually pretty cool" because I could block his belly flops and take no damage, and just Blitz Strike his heart when it was about to breathe fire. I also never had anyone get possessed. I just killed him, but it had to have been bugged on the first attempt, because I kept hitting the heart over and over and it had an infinite magic pixel of health.
I had killed him fifteen levels earlier as a Sorcerer. Gicel > that piece of shit.

If you have a magick archer, you can spam ricochet bolt to annihilate them very quickly.
If not... you're potentially in for a world of pain.
Funny story, the other day, an Elder Ogre spawned after I killed the gold and silver armours. I was, sadly, not a magick archer, at that time. My pawns were derping a bit and it took forever to get its health down. It was down to nothing, about 1/5th of its health bar... I had wasted a bunch of Wakestones too because its uppercut OHKOs me and in its last phase it seems to be permanently raging and spamming that move.
Then my game crashed.
After sputtering expletives, I reload, resign myself for another long battle... and my sorcerer pawn helpfully, immediately cast Fulmination right at the start like he should have, and I proceed to destroy the stupid ogre's face in like under a minute, using no consumables. LOL

If you're a warrior just use your jump attack and corona slash and you can knock em down ez and then just use the lunge while they're down and you hit em a billion times.
They're a lot of fun to fight once you know how to mess with them.
Now living armor and executioners on the other hand.
Fuck those guys.
Living armor is hell considering how i run warrior range ranger ranger for maximum death machine.

So I am doing the Wyrm quest at the Altar of the water God, and I can't figure out how to raise/lower the platforms to advance through the dungeon to find the friar.

you can simply walk to his location, there are no riddles there until you find him

I don't know about "funnest", or "best at very specific encounters", but I swear Magick Archer went from mostly zero in vanilla to hero in DA. It can deal with pretty much anything, and can cheese so hard in hallways.

Gotta be bugged, then. There should be quests for killing succubi, snowy saurians, Archydra, etc.

You have to load your completed save and it will start you right at the beginning.
There's a lever you need that is down and to the left of the wooden platform, accessible by ladder. You need to kill the cyclops in there to get the key to open the door.

Hmm I got the Archhydra one in Frontier Caverns, but not those for killing the small monsters. The notice boards in both the Encampment and the Pawn Guild have been empty for a while. Oh well.

Thanks and yep I wish there was a mod that would remove it from appearing on screenshots.
I had to use the photo tool to rotate it a bit and hide my character who would have actually been taking up 30% of the screen.
There is IIRC, check the DD nexus.
