Wait wait wait, you can actually activate DRS and KERS in DC?
Hold the handbrake as soon as you start turning into a corner.
Edit - don't hold handbrake for too long though, you'll just lose speed.

A couple of pointers. Pay attention to the roadside markers.
Green = Flatout. In other words, you don't have to let off the gas.
Yellow = Some braking required. Usually not too much, maybe down a gear and try not to go all the way back on the gas right away.
Red = Heavy braking. Do the braking before then turn and then turn into it while applying maybe halfway on the gas and then floor it once you're out of the corner.
Also approach corners from the opposite side. So if the corner is to the right, then make sure your car is on the left hand side of the road. Like this
Yes, it's manually operated. I can't think of another racing game that lets you do that.

Just gonna switch the handbrake to L1 instead of DRS then.
You can play on any account as long as that account has your PS4 registered as a primary one.
If you find that your EU account (or any non-US account) can't play USA games (you have a small lock icon when you select Driveclub), you have to do this:
[PSN] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4] > [Activate].
EDIT: I should note that you can register your PS4 as a primary console on multiple accounts and should do so for both USA account (that you use to purchase games) as well as non-USA accounts.

Hm? I was able to turn off everything but that no problem. Just have to put no for everything on the display settings except the map.

And Ireland, by the looks of it. It's bad enough that we only get lumped in with the UK for bad things, but they also forget that we're not part of the UK, so they don't bother saying UK and Ireland. You always have to guess if we're included or not.

My Quick 2 cents before bed:
I'm extracting my screenshots atm, Is there going to be a Photo thread like how Forza has one?
- Control, control, control, this game has amazing feel and response. Just like everyone said, Feels like good ol PGR.
- Graphics - I'm pretty sure we're just inputting commands to live tv streams.
- Music - I'm usually not one for the music choices in racing games (ie Forza series, GT series, etc) but I am enjoying this, gets me in the mood, keeps me in the zone and provides a good mood.
- I'm pretty much addicted to this, HAD to pull myself off because I started sleepdriving.
- So far, My racing GOTY. (I have FH2, and beaten most of it)

Glad it delivers in gameplay but can not be but disappointed with overall graphics impressions so far. Game was praised and overhyped in terms of visuals and IQ. Time to lower expectations till Friday :/I really like it, and see myself wanting to invest some serious time into it. Controls feel very responsive, and it's just fun to play. That being said, I'm not at all impressed with the visuals (so far). At this point I'd say Driveclub is "photogenic"; it does look fantastic in screenshots, and select videos, but not so much in person. It may have something to do with the aliasing that is exacerbated by the 30fps, and the "eye tracking strobing" that cannot be helped at those frame rates. Still, like I said, I like it quite a bit.

I think the Photomode thread will be held back until the Photomode for the game is patched in. Rushy said that it's coming very soon after launch.
Use console screenshots thread until someone makes one.
Probably not until the photomode is out. Screenshots just do not do this game justice atm.

The aliasing is pretty noticeable but honestly I stopped paying attention to it after 30 seconds of racing. Game looks gorgeous even if the IQ isn't pristine.

Haven't been spun out by them yet. What difficulty are you playing on? They've ran into me a few times but only from behind and it just gave me an extra push.
The graphics are incredible. The game in motion looks more like the gifs than the screenshot grabs, the lighting during stormy skies are near photorealistic. Wait for my gifs from my share captures.
