Man I'm surprised they're actually even bothering to respond to the FB comments

Mark Brissat:
Lol ! Good team???? Disaster team... They dont care customers... They would be ready at release... I trusted them.... I bought the game and feel like a pigeon...

Driveclub:
We do care, Mark. We've poured our hearts into making this game for a long time and we want everyone who plays to have fun and get involved with clubs and challenges and play together for a long time.

That's what we expected from day 1 and that's we're now working non-stop to get to.

Hell.

I am this -- close to buy Thrustmaster T300 RS. This would be the main game for it - I don't even have a stand or something...

This freaking close....

ed: read post below...T100....

So… Can someone verify this? Found it on the other thread. Are they locking down more sales until they fix it?

Yep. It's totally legit. Just found it on the PS Store.

Or those who don't love intestinal games
True that. I think you've solved the puzzle right there.

You have both fh2 and driveclub and you still enjoying the hell out of driveclub and may even have a preference over fh2? Consider me sold on this game
I'm still coming to terms on exactly how that happened myself. Really shoudn't have been possible and I still kinda don't believe it.

Such a mess. Quite frankly I don't know which is worst: buying a game that is bad or being unable to play a game that you want to play. I know I can play it offline right now but the Club/Challenge/Leaderboards is the extra piece that ties everything together. Right now it feels like if I keep playing the Tour, I will miss half the experience.

Yep. It's totally legit. Just found it on the PS Store.

Still for sale in the European Store.

Not me. I admittedly don't have much time into it so far but I'm pretty underwhelmed so far. The driving is alright but it's not amazing. The graphics are really hit or miss too (some areas/settings look great, but most of it is pretty poor. Some pop in with textures on trees too. Also the Multiplayer works fine for me but the players are insanely aggressive  Any way to put share button videos on YouTube?

Do you need a stand for that wheel? Or will it clip onto a desk like the T80?

No stand required, clips onto a desk and seems quite accomodating in terms of how thick the table/desk surface can be. The clamp attachment is adjustable, tried it on both my computer desk and coffee table and it works great on both.

T100 owners -is it easier or harder with the wheel? I've never used a wheel on a console before and it's been a while since I've done the arcade racing.

I think I need a wheel for this game, I wish they had a cheap one with a clutch and shifter though.

Yeah, I've just been reading the sour comments aimed at driveclub on facebook and twiiter. I originally thought these comments would be made by angry teenagers, but from what I'm reading, a lot of the main dummy spitting is being done by middle aged men.

Season pass is also pre-ordered. Now it's just a waiting game for the wheel and the servers and WEATHER!

Kind of a ballsy purchase at this point, no? Evo literally can't get the core game working four days after launch. God only knows when the PS+ version will roll out. I have zero confidence that they're going to meet their DLC schedule.

Nice! Thank you very much - am bookmarking that page. Sweet.
Will see if I buy T300 or "just" T100 tho...I need something for this game.

Glad to help. These stands are great. You can just fold it up when you are done and put it in a closet. Very sturdy and solid feel and is fully adjustable with clamps to tighten things up.

But you have the game already right? It's expected to show like that of those who already own it. Was wondering if it were the case for those who didn't

I've noticed that since I own the PS+ upgrade it says the regular version is not available for purchase. Not sure if that screenshot was taken in the same scenario

If you have Plus this will be what you see. I read that somewhere on PSN (not sure where).

I think they do this so you don't accidentally by the full price version. You have to go to the PS Plus area to buy it at the discount price. I'll check again later when I get home.

Maybe he/she is PS+ subscriber and only has option to buy upgrade version.
When I pre ordered PS+ upgrade, normal version looked like that pic.

Yeah I was asking people who don't have the game to verify it.

Yeah i guess it is but I see myself playing this for a long time as my go to racer until GT7 so if I have to wait a little for content or stable servers, there are plenty of other games to play in between. Still haven't started Middle Earth:SOM

Loving this game. Played most of the day.
Drift challenges are a pain in the ass to get 3 stars in

I hate drift challenges in every game I've ever played and generally give up on them after a short while. The good thing about drift challenges in DC is that you don't lose your drift points if you crash or go off course, so it's not as frustrating.
I still don't enjoy drift challenges in this game, but it's nice to know I can try and pull off the most insane drift without the worry of having to pull out before I crash or something.

Woo, first online game and 2nd place. And right after that servers went down :p

Also that Italian Performance challenge was insane, can't wait for rainy version of it :) and why we need to start 5th or 7th in Tour mode on every race?

This could be fantastic racing game but flaws are slowly creeping out ....

It is most definitely a profound difference when playing racers with a wheel, especially a good one. Easier, not really sure if easier is the way I would describe it. Just way way better and more precise. you will be able to shave off more time on your runs with a wheel.

Not many games have full clutch support so I feel it really isn't needed.

The people working on the server issues are probably networking specialists, unlikely it will have much impact on the people working on adding more cars/tracks/events etc.

Even still, I'm not too worried if the DLC schedule is impacted a bit. Got enough other games to keep my busy while I wait.

Yep I dont have it and it says the same thing.

The ps plus upgrade version is still there though for purchase.

I wish the drift challenges worked more like time trials and just let you keep looping around until you decide to quit.

As they currently work they're really bad for learning how to drift since they're over in a matter of seconds. Then the event finishes and then you get the scoring and then the other scoring and then you can restart - which is instant - but its jarring.

So I've actually been practicing using the closed circuit race tracks (small, lots of tight turns) in time trial mode.

Well there it is. Even though the network is still FUBARed apparently, I'm loving the game and hating the hating the wheel solution on the PS4 with every passing minute I play so... I bit the bullet...

Arr, I'm really envious :(

I've been putting off playing this game proper until the servers are up but loaded it up just to try out a couple of races and wow the handling is amazing. Realistic but forgiving and just really enjoyable to control. Love it.

I created GAF EU club if people want to join. I left it open. No worries if you're not a hardcore racing guy because I'm not either.
Just joined :)

Because networking and content are delivered by different people? The game works fine, its networking stuff that is down.

Bah, I really wish I had the money to get this... Being a responsible adult sucks ass hairs. Its ok, I can wait for the ps+ version. I just started playing uncharted (I know, I know, really late) for the first time, so I have all 3 games to go through.

Someone here said they noticed pop in on tree textures, how in the name of whichever god you subscribe to are you able to drive and watch trees? Maybe in level one racing but not in the cars above the hot hatches.

Racers look better in motion for a reason.

I mean if you park near a shadow you see it move in incremental steps and not smooth motion...but you are not supposed to do that :)

I don't even know how people say this game doesn't look good. I'm just gonna assume people have some badly optimized TV's.

There however is some pop in while driving like with shrubbery especially in Chile but you gotta be staring way out at environments and not actually paying attention to races to notice.

That was the issue I had with mine - sharpness was way too high. I hadn't noticed it until
Drive Club, though. The TV itself isn't particularly large and I was sitting far enough away that most other games didn't look bad enough for me to consider checking the settings.

The impressions here made me take a look and I'm really glad I did. I'm now going to make sure to do some research on proper optimisation before I purchase a new TV this holiday. I'm starting to wonder what else might be off on this set.

I don't know of any other racing game on the consoles that comes anywhere close to this. Not considering DC's level of detail, lighting, draw distances and IQ. I've also noticed zero pop-in except possibly maybe once at the margins in a fly-over before a level started.

Whatever the comparisons, the stuff we're going to have on offer by the end of this generation will be on a level I can't even comprehend.

Or you could hit options before crossing the checkered flag… At least that way you get a better idea of how to maximize score per section.
Interesting method, but that'd still feel too weird to me. That first Drift challenge event - the very first one - is like 30 seconds on the track and boom, its done. Its too all-or-nothing for me.

When I load up a track for time trials I can spend all day refining my techniques.
