I've been doing art research for the past hour and a half. It's kind of frustrating.
I had this idea for the game I'm working on where poorer locations would look a lot more medieval, and wealthier locations would look a lot more Victorian. For some reason it all made sense in my head, but now in practice it looks like an awful mishmash made by someone who didn't do any research or a group of people who aren't working as a team or... something. So now I'm trying to figure out what direction I need to go in to solve this. My artbooks are helping a lot though.
