Any chance we can get Jeremy Corbyn as PM and Bernie Sanders as President as a massive fuck you to neoliberalism bollocks?

I know the chances are tiny, but man. That'd be fucking rad.

Hilldawg will win. But I'm not too upset. With the way our current government functions (it doesn't) Hillary's main duty will be to appoint Supreme Court justices and her choices won't be much different than Bernie's would. Plus a small part of me just wants Hillary to win so we can finally say we've had a female president.

Gonna have a good majority of liberal Supreme Court justices within the next eight years I'd say. Hopefully that piece of shit Scalia retires during that time.

Yeah, that's all fair. It'd be nice for you guys to get the big dose of socialism that we got post-WW2 though.

It is kind of funny how there are these two leadership contests happening on both sides of the Atlantic for the mainstream party of the left where two of the people in the running are being labeled as unelectable because they're too left wing. Weird parallels.

But yeah Corbyn needs to fucking win. If only so I can get £175 out of the £11 I bet on him the other day before the odds dropped to a half of what they were. But also because he would murder cunt face Cameron in debates, and actually be an opposition leader who opposes. Young and poor people aren't voting over here, and people think that Labour just needs to be more like the Tories to win because that's how Tony Blair won. Even though the Tories were damaged goods at that point and basically anyone could have won, and there was a massive drop-off of Labour voters after his first government. And when I say massive, I mean 3 million massive. The turnout's never recovered. And there hasn't been a properly left wing candidate since. But people ignore that because TONY BLAIR.

...sorry that went more ranty than I expected. UK PoliGAF isn't left wing enough for me to get away with it in there >_>

Elizabeth Warren though... Elizabeth Warren over Sanders and HIllary any day, every day! That woman stands up to the big players like no one else does.

I'm sorry but Sanders reminds me of those presidents that promise things and then when they're in office they forget or something else happens where they can't do what they said they would do. Still, his record is amazing.

I don't have any hair down there so I don't have to worry. But I imagine when one has explosive diarrhea (as I just did because I had some zinc for detox) it would be a pain in the ass (literally) to clean one self.

EDIT: Jesus christ, this is some of the worst fucking journalism I've seen this side of Fox News. Like it's borderline propaganda. The full video at the bottom shows that he had been needled and prodded for 10 minutes to answer complicated, loaded questions with 1 or 2 word answers, with constant interruption whenever he tries to give a proper, full answer and they take it out of context to show "OH LOOK HE'S AN ANGRY CRAZY LEFT WINGER WHO GETS AGGRESSIVE WHEN YOU QUESTION HIM CALLING HEZBOLLAH AND HAMAS FRIENDS". Like I don't care what you think of the whole Israel/Palestine debate, that doesn't matter, but it's quite clear to anyone with half a fucking brain that he meant it as a diplomat to try to get the two groups into discussions and stop fucking murdering each other, and he says as much in the video.

UGH. The state of politics in this country.
