This. H2H games are shit because the people I play against all play the same way, not because of how easy it is to pull off a move like that. I've pulled that off numerous times, including against you. If we are speaking about a match between myself and another GAFfer for example, or yourself, then our games are played extemely differently. That is evidence that the shit comes from the online mentality of "we need to win at any cost, who care is the football is fucked."

There is a setting for when you switch players the pathing doesn't get interrupted. It is the first setting I changed, because it is extremely annoying when that happens.

Blazed through Amateur, no problem.
Tied on professional and won in shoot outs.
Couldn't beat it on Legendary with Barca. Seems like I was playing at an amateur mentality thinking Messi can outrun anything. He can't.

I need more practice.

People enjoy football (and therefore football games) for different reasons. Some want to win at all costs I.e hackers and cheap players and others want to create something special.

You crave that killer cross, sweet pass or crisp finish, or maybe that spectacular volley and you spend your time trying to make that happen.

In FIFA you're empowered to do more than you are in PES both defensively and attacking-wise. Because the gameplay is more sophisticated the merit of everything you do is amplified over something like PES.

A sublime piece of skill means more to me in FIFA than PES because I had to work harder to achieve it.

Shots across the keeper now feel almost as overpowered as finesse shots - especially with manual shot settings.

I just beat Barca 5-1 with City on World Class with Aguero scoring a hatrick of 'across the keeper' goals. They just feel a little too easy to pull off at the moment.

I'm liking this demo very much. Penalties still feel a bit off and defending should imply more pressing from the whole team. Other than that, it's very good.

BTW, does anybody know how to change the time limit on the PC demo?

This is probably the only year where I'm alright with these goals because they look more realistic than they ever did. Previous years has been insanity and 50 yards screamers, I don't like that shit.

I haven't been able to do that one yet because it is all about the situation, and I haven't been able to recreate it. The only other one I haven't done is the roulette flick. It is frustrating, because as I said earlier, Rooney's dribbling skills suck, so you can't practice in the arena mode of the demo.

Yeah, Bergkamp turn. That would be a boss move if you got the ball in a counter attack and you were alone with the defender.

You need to get lucky with the random pre-match arena player. Every time I pick Barça, I get Mascherano. FML.

The 180 scoop turn is a wonderful move as well when you only have one defender on you as well.

I'm probably at about forty games played in the demo, probably had a defender for 30 of them, and I've had Messi, and Pato once each, and no1 else that I can fuck around with for the rest of them.

you can't outrun anything with anybody past professional. Vincent Kompany straight ran down walcott like he was a fat person last time i tried to play at that difficulty.

Yeah, I need to work on my passes and lobs. Seeing which assist setting works best.

Those AI really contain me well, although I hadn't played with formations much.

Tactical Defend just clicked for me. It's really is an improvement now that I understand it. Still cant handle crossing very well though.

Anyone try flair shooting/passing? I tried holding L2 and pass/shoot but nothing seems to happen, even with Sanchez or RVP. Am i doing something wrong? Precision Dribbling is a little hard to utilize at the moment. Cant seems to be using it a lot against CPU.

When you pass, flick the LS in the direction you want to pass as you power up the pass. Gotze, Pato I know can both do it, not sure who else, but I'd assume those two can. And then Nasri, Messi, Xavi and/or Iniesta, Aguero, and I'd hope some OM and Napoli players, although I'm not familiar enough with them to know.

It is a contextual situation, so it won't always happen. The video mentioned above by adriano999 shows it though.

I think they leave it vague on purpose so you can find them yourself...

Ermmm there is a list of skill moves.

I'm not sure if it's in the demo, but it's in button help -> skill moves in FIFA 11.
