Don't worry, that is what I have spent on Lego according to the Lego site equivalent to MFC
Man I love that site. Just started using it yesterday, but it was so nice being able to just run through the "Bionicle" search and just checkmark what I have. Once I sort my regular non-Technic bricks, I'll run through what sets I remember having of those (though that will be much harder).

Eye bu key !
She is probably the only one I would consider
but it would be a constant reminder that shes dead/comatose
as chiaki would just be a constant reminder of
the incredibly stupid shes an AI plot twist

Since I have Kyoko, the only other DR figure I would love to have is Aoi, but thats never going to happen

I'm thinking about getting that Miss Monochrome nendo. She's a cutie.

I bought her.

Giolon wasn't lying about the bad quality control with Mammon. There's significant paint chipping on the bottom of her right foot and it looks like her left foot is starting to chip as well. I'm also finding it impossible to get her on the base securely since she keeps leaning every time I do. Very disappointed overall and I'm definitely going to ask for my money back. No fucking way I'm paying for this shit.

So sorry this has happened to you guys, she looks so good I kept feeling like I was missing out, but now it feels like I dodged a bullet... Hope you can get your money back, if you can;t even get her stood up without leaning that alone should be grounds for some kinda return...

Hurghh, the Sideshow looks as good for now so I dont regret getting it, but I would have liked a led lightsaber :/

Well I don't think you can go wrong with either, the Sideshow one is more ROTJ Vader, this is like a more idealized ANH version, but yeah the lack of a light up saber on the Sideshow one was one of my reasons for passing on it. Now I have no excuse...

I found that little feature earlier this year. I'm past the 3k mark at this point. Protip: that's not yen.

Oh, I know that. What I'm saying is, when asked to input price when adding an item to my collection, I use dollars converted (lazily) from the shipping notices that always list in yen.

I figured out the leaning problem at least. You kind of need to twist her around a bit after you sit her on the pegs. I'm so used to pressing down that it threw me off a little but it seems good for now. That paint chipping though...ugh.

You'd never be able to see it but it bothers me knowing it's even there. A damn shame too because, when fully assembled, she surpasses Tharja as my favorite figure this year. Orchid Seed did an incredible job with her despite the QC issues.

I wasn't referring to what you said about how you do yen conversion for your collection, just referring to the fact that in this thread numbers followed by "k" are normally yen (because of how insignificant the last 2-3 digits of prices listen in yen are). So what I meant was MFC was giving me a number over 3k...USD.

For stuff this year since I started using MFC, I have been putting in actual prices based off the current conversion rate, but a lot of my older figures I have used a more lazy conversion rate like you because it's not worth the trouble to try to track down the conversion rate at the time and figure out what the exact price was. Even if you use lazy conversion you'll get a more accurate estimation of what you paid than just going off MSRP unless you somehow manage to buy all your figures at MSRP :p

Its gotten bigger. Its weird, its like this weird little bubble that everyone complains about, but since they all know each other and no one else, everyone is too scared to leave because "oh noes I can't leave I dont know anyone". Like, just fuckin leave if you hate it.
Also they ain't kidding when they say there's a Simpsons for everything. I wasn't born here, actually moved here from Indy, and before that Florida.

I've been there. Went with some acquaintances to the casino there, was a gewd time.
Ah yes, the casino. The only thing anyone knows us as.

Maturity, bitches.
The weight of Sakura's hat sure makes balancing difficult. Had to rotate her neck 90 degrees to prevent her head tipping backwards.

There's literally nothing else to do here, so might as well collect figures. :p

That or get into racing. Fuck that.

F Zero ruined any chance I had at being interested in real racing. :x

Indy is perhaps the least "city" city I've ever been to, and I've lived in seven states.
Hey its alright. Its not as big as a lot of other ones, but its a hell of a lot nicer IMO.

Yeah, I use Brickset for my lego sets and then I use Rebrickable for all my loose bricks that I get off bricklink or PAB wall at the store or through other methods like garage sales. I can import my Brickset list to rebrickable and that way I have a complete parts list on rebrickable of all the lego bricks I have, the colors and numbers and I can use rebrickable then to see if I can build other official LEGO sets I do not own with the bricks I do have plus people post their custom sets on there using digital designer so I can see if I can build those.

Using that site I can see which bricks I am missing, where the bricks I need to use are from which sets, block those sets from being part of the pull, see what the best bricklink stores to order the parts from are, and a bunch of other info. Brickset + Rebrickable is the ultimate combo.
