Probably the wrong place to ask, but what kind of game is that. The art that was posted has caught my attention...

It's a line defense game where you drag/click your units to attack oncoming enemies. You can level them up, equip them with different weapons, as well as use their skills. There's also a lot of story elements to it [it's actually lot more well-written than I thought it would be, especially for a "free" game], and you really don't need to spend money if you don't want to. A lot of the 3*/4* units can carry you to the end of the game, although obviously you'll want the better ones for the more difficult content.

The only downside, in my opinion, is the use of AP. It's the source of "energy" in the world and you need it to run quests. You regain 1AP every 8 minutes, which wouldn't be so bad, but the cost of some of the quests are easily around 10AP or so [the Intermediate daily is 20AP], so you can run out of AP extremely quickly. You can circumvent this by using Stamina Fruit [which the game gives you at regular intervals] as well as using your Prysma [the source of currency used for "Premium" recruits]. I'd advise against the latter, since they're better used on summoning new recruits [wait for a rate-up event!].

It's definitely worth a try if you have an iOS/Android device. The game has character art from a lot of famous Japanese artists as well as voice actors. For instance, the girl who voices Aludra is the same one who voiced Zero in Drakengard 3.

A free to play mobile gatchapon rpg. You assemble random heroes by drawing cards and having them fight in parties against monsters. The combat is real time d done with the participants drawn/animated super deformed style. There's also a slight Suikoden touch as there are 2xx heroes to "catch".

The artwork for the characters is stellar though it doesn't veer much from the tropes of the genre.

I built several plastic model airplanes when I was a kid (not sure what happened to them, now that I think about it). As long as you have a good hobby razor they are not really hard to build, but they are rather time consuming (glue a few pieces, leave it alone for a few hours). Painting is another story; time consuming and easy to mess up. I did paint a few things but not enough to really get good at it.
