I recently ordered my Yoshino from N-Y. I had no problems. It took them about 5 days from payment to ship it, but it arrived fairly quick once it was shipped.
I always assumed it was more likely to happen with the rare ones or the ones that were in high demand at release.
Like I said, I ordered mine in 2013 well before the poor Gaffer got screwed with a bootleg and had no issues whatsoever.

There are just two MH4 ones. The others are from older games. And there's also a 5th out there from Monster Hunter Frontier G, but I think it was a pack-in from something.

March: Empty (Will probably buy Sega prize figures this month to give as presents).
April: 1 Figma + 3 Star Wars stuff.
May: What I've said before.
June: 2 Nendos (why god, why) and 1 figma.
August: 1 Figma.
November: 1 Scale.

I met her at AnimeExpo, and conducted a Skype interview w/ her for Sega's never-actually-launched official fansite for Valkyria Chronicles around the time VC2 was coming out, and even delivered it to RubyEclipse. I thought it was a pretty fun interview, and it's too bad it never saw the light of day.

And the only reason I haven't personally pre-ordered Selvaria is because of Vertex. I can't say they're bad, considering I down yet own anything from them, but that's exactly why I'm wary of her. If they can release a product that's close to that prototype? Yes, perfection! However, as we well know, so many things can go wrong...

I think this is one of the only times where I'd vastly prefer scales to Nendos. Nendos would be nice, but considering the game practically oozes bish it feels like it'd be a disservice to not play off of it.

the Selvaria proto is attractive, but I can't deal with the exaggerated proportions. It's like two competing scales, so she looks ten feet tall and has quarter scale breasts to boot!
