The deployment changes are great. Were these in WotL?

Lots of bad memories of the original FFT, setting up my troop deployment in the Zero-Elevation Troop Deployment Void, and then once the battle loads I see my archers are down in a pit and my melee fighters are up on a mountan 1000 miles above the nearest enemy lol.

Preordered. I've bought this game 4 times now. Started playing it 6 different times. Will finally play through it in full

Let's hope! I'm going to take advantage of the modern standards here for VA and enjoy this version's playthrough with my daughter, we've done some fully text games with no VA, but the VA does help engagement! Either way, it'll be a fun ride for someone who's new to the game for sure.
