Put it on Steam or GoG and I'll get it eventually.
I gig ram and 2 gig cpu and DX 9 card min reqs for FFVII on the PS1?
Wut? Is this April 1st?
By the way, its amazing to see so many people skip on it because its not on Steam. Do you just not trust Square Enix like EA with Origin or are you all Steam fanboys?
If it were on Origin or Retail I'd probably consider it. I'm not buying from the Square Enix shop, period.
What's wrong with it? I never used it. Does it have problems downloading games you buy or what?
Exclusive to the Square Enix store.

kind of bummed that this looks like a re-release rather than a remake. and for all those bitching about this not being on steam, please go kick rocks. ten posts whining about the same bullshit is dumb.
They're probably doing a FF7 remake. They want to make sure everyone has a chance to play the original before they announce and release the remake. An iOS version is probably coming up next.

They probably cut that out for this version to show ultrarealistic violence in HD; the higher specs are only for this new part.Yep. And you'll be able to revive Aeris. And there'll be an x-rated version of the Cloud-in-the-bathhouse segment.
Do you buy all your food from 10 different shops?
No you pick a shop you like and just get it all there besides a few specialty items.
FF7 from like 15 years ago is not a special item. I'll buy it when it shows up at my preferred store. It would be like making a special trip for toilet paper.
Listing the character booster as one of the special features is so tacky and bizarre.
The improvement is probably the PC you'll be playing it on.What are the improvements over the PS1 version? Play it on epsxe or the normal pc version?
The inclusion alone is bizarre. It's not like FF7 is a hard game.
I disagree I think every Square-Enix PC release is on Steam and most other digital vendors, I could see that in a couple months it will be on Steam but for a temporary basis it's exclusive to their own store. It's a valid complaint. They're releasing a game that would sell a fuck ton but refusing to sell it on the largest PC store in the world. It's typical Japan missing the point on PC gaming.

Kind of a bad analogy since I really dont have a "favorite" shop. I take the one closest and fastest to reach from my home. And if that one doesnt have what i want, i go to the one that have it.
Just like what happened with BF3 and ME3 and maybe FFVII if i feel like buying it again.
I like Steam and all, that's where i went when i bought Skyrim, or Arkham City, Deus EX HR or Fallout3 and that's where i usually buy my games. But having to use Origin for BF3 and ME3 didnt bother me the slightest since the only important thing for me is to be able to play my games.
Exactly what I was thinking LMFAOA trailer by Michael Bay
I'll play this when we get the eventual mod that makes leveling materia something other than a goddamn grinding nightmare.
