I can't decide if I should get the guide or not. On one hand, I've played FFX many times and I don't need a walkthrough at all. On the other: International version differences, I haven't played past chapter 1 in X-2 in almost a decade, and as I'm getting the Vita version, I'll be doing most of my playing away from a computer so it'll be more annoying to look up data on my phone.

I'm going with Vita myself. FFX on the go sounds awesome. If I had a 1080p TV I might have had more trouble deciding but since I don't the Vita versions OLED wins out for me

Last of Us is pretty long. Like 20 hours for a first play through.
The Last of Us is like 15-20 hours. Maybe you should wait till you're done with the HD collection. The Last of Us might spoil you with its superior voice acting and animations

The Screen on the Vita has a resolution of 960x544. Subnative means the game is running below that. Native means it is 960x544

Some games don't allow it though, and (I think) neither do all PS1 games.

Some games also add a little copyright notice to your screenshot. It's annoying, and FFX HD does it too. So does Miku, but Danganronpa doesn't.
The quality on the screenshots isn't perfect, a direct feed will get you a better picture but that's tough. Does an acceptable job.

All of the impressions I've heard so far indicate it looks great regardless, so probably no need to worry.
So has there been any updates on a possible Asia English version with Japanese voices?
I already know the Chinese language version has no English at all but there is supposedly an English version coming up on roughly the same time as NA's.
Or maybe they'll simply provide a Japanese voice DLC like they recently did with Lightning Returns? That would be pretty cool.

I'm still not sold on the new face for Tidus. In all the scenes I've watched from the remaster (in various trailers or gameplay vids), his face is a lot less emotive than the original.
Seems like that's the case for all the characters.
Which is the newer one? To be completely fair his hair actually looks like cardboard in that left image, neither is awful there though. This is a perfect example of what I meant about his face looking less emotive. The one on the right looks more like a doll with a static face. The left one (original) looks much better. I don't really like the hair on either version, lol. I really don't like the eyes on the new Tidus - so lifeless.
