Yeah as was said earlier they said they let some of the dev team have some vacation time after the release which lead to the schedule stretching a bit, I'm guessing this new exploratory content is also probably a big QA spot as well since its the first time they have done such content since Skirmish in 1.0 (which had significantly less people who could participate). I'm guessing (Hoping) this was just a one time issue outside of what will likely be the next drought leading up to the next expansion release. Having said that they can't do that again, at least not till they have gotten out 'all' the item lvls content. This tier is already too long as is and to have most of the gap filling content not happening for almost 5 months isn't acceptable especially with how paltry the end game content was, don't stretch the ilvl for a tier by 30 lvls unless you have the content to fill those gaps in a timely fashion.
Probably a one time event and all that. Understandable enough, though it makes me wish that SE had allotted enough of a budget that they could let have time off in cycles without dramatically delaying content.
Ultimately I won't care much so long as there's sufficient content in 3.1, can always put this game on the back burner and poke at my backlog a bit.

That's what i'm doing atm. Although I'm still hyped about minion battles and airship exploration if only for the idea of it.

Missed this last night, found a video here Of Void Ark and Island Exploration stuff they showed.
Island exploration stuff has the potential to be really cool. Looks like whole new field areas to explore that they could gate via ilevel so that they really could make exploration dangerous without worrying about new players getting slaughtered. Plus there are something like, what 23(?) islands on the sky chart so that could potentially be a lot of content. I was worried about randomly generated areas, but it looks like they are actually building new maps you can explore with other players once the airship drops you off there. I could see how that would take them awhile to build.
Early Nov. date is really disheartening though
Game is in a worse spot for endgame now than any time since 2.0. They have to be bleeding subscribers which you think the devs would be worried about?? Devs are no longer allowed to go on vacation.

Disappointed with the wait, but it's understandable, hopefully they take note and don't do the same with 4.0. Hopefully the game will pick up lost subs when they get back into the routine. November isn't the best time for a patch, but generally, anytime in Q4 is a bad time, lol.

Maybe you were that Monk I did Neverreap with a few days ago. We completed that shit in like 12 minutes and it was the happiest I've been playing this game in a while.

The past two EXDRs I did, I was out DPSing one of the DPS (A SMN the first time and a BRD the second time). Even better, the tank also out DPSed the BRD on he last boss of Neverreap. I guess it's a good thing that I have a friend to queue with so he can carry the DPS!
Considering I've lost my ps4 for a few weeks and there are a bunch of games I want to play over the next few months, I'm fine taking a break. I will say I've kind of stopped being interested in the daily eso grind...I wish there were enough content that I wouldn't have to play the same two dungeons every day...
Hopefully a couple of weeks off will get me back in the groove.

And finally I found out how to register my security token! Hopefully I'll get the free destination syncs in-game.
And with 3.1 dropping in November, that gives me some time to complete at least A Realm Reborn, and hopefully Heavensward as well.
By the way, is there any way to make the launcher remember my password as well? If not, then I'll just change my password to something shorter.

None of them are attainable now - the seasonal clothes are the closest to attainable, you can get them by participating in seasonal events, if you miss the event then you can go purchase them from the website.
Nope, every time you launch the game you must put in your password and security code. It's a security measure because lots of people's accounts have been getting hacked, then turned into spam-bots.
At least, that's a nice option, to let me buy items if I miss them from time-restrained events.
Is it possible to change my password then?
I'm looking all over account management but I can't seem to find anything else but my general information.
For real? They look like a mix of Law gear and WoD gear. They're pretty generic.
Caster set is okay though.

Tattered, black leather and skirts for everyone and everything. They really need to just make their 24-man gear have priority as glamour pieces and then maybe they'd try designing some unique stuff.
Anyways, most looking forward to more 24-man things to do in 3.1 with the FC, if we even still have that many people subbed come November!

PS: I think we can dismiss the notions of yearly expansions for the immediate future. I know that 3.1 has some unique circumstances behind it, buuuuut, it's hard for me to see them getting the 3.X story done by next June at this rate.
