Yes. They are only really ever useful ii 8 man parties where fights are much longer.
Foe Req is generally good with a caster or cleric'd healer, though, in any content (more damage is more damage) and ballad can be helpful between pulls if you have a WHM bleeding MP for Holy.
Singing and the associated cast bar is also good for when you want to just stand around for a few seconds doing nothing mid-fight while still looking like you're contributing.

Okay I am now at lvl 49 on my BRD, my other fighting classes are at 31, what cross-class skills should I be using? I am excited to finally be reaching the lvl50+ stuff and want to make sure I am set to go.
Level 12 LNC for Invigorate and level 34 LNC for Blood 4 Blood.

Edit - Wait I'm drunk. I was thinking blm for some reason and recommended a wrong sub.
So after realizing I don't enjoy dpsing too much (and I also don't like waiting half an hour to find a party for a random dungeon), I decided I was going to play a healer. It's rather fun (although early dungeons are not very challenging so it's a bit boring in that regard).
Still don't know if I want to work on my Arcanist to eventually become a Scholar or just go WHM. Need to pick one soon, there's only so many time I can run the first four dungeons before I go mad with boredom.
Also should I ever bother putting points into piety or should I just dump everything into mind?

All of your points into mind. Gear will provide you with extra piety, usually.

Also if you can deal with being a DPS/running the early levels, I would suggest getting SCH and trying it out. SCH is really fun and having WHM leveled gives you access to your most important CC skills (Stoneskin, Cleric Stance, Protect, Aero).
Not played my SCH much recently since I leveled my WAR but SCH is really fun.

I set an early alarm for EB registration (like 3:50 AM EST) but was too tired to get up. I managed to stumble to my PC at exactly 4 AM EST, but all the reasonable times for Friday and Saturday were long gone by then. With a little luck, we were able to secure 8 PM EST on Sunday. If you didn't buy platinum, I think you will be SOL.
I'll post on the FC website later, but if anyone wants an invite, let Maple Cookie or Strawberry Shortcake know! I know there are a lot of weddings before ours but we're both lalafells and therefore will have the best wedding.

Doubt it, it's usually not hard to get everything. You can probably hit 3 days worth of "dailies" and get it all. Who knows though.
How can some people be so bad at the game. Especially when they've cleared content that is in ways harder with more difficult mechanics.
Like I'm playiing on my brither's account who hasn't cleared T7 yet. And whenver I do T6 or T7, I see people who keep dying and failing to dodge the likes of Bouquet and Petrifaction and failing to clear. This is post nerf as well but I has similar issues myself a months ago. The way I look at it is this. If you're doing 2nd coil, then you are good enough for T5, therefore good enough to deal with Twister. if that's the case, why do they struggle on T6-7 so much

A huge grip of the playerbase doesn't raid, that much is evident by the census a while back that talked about how few people passed T1-5 even post nerf when SCOB was up. That's basically it. Like at least half of the LS my casual group is from hasn't even touched coil.
Oh I get that. A lot of people won't raid. It's why there are the Hard Primals and stuff like Gilgamesh and Ultros, with Extreme for those that want it. In fact I feel Coil should have have had an easier difficulty with what we got as a harder version since it's story content.
If this was first coil that's one thing. I'm on about cases where people have cleared harder mechanics and stuff like Twister and T5 and fail on easier content like T6-7 and Bouquet/Petrifacation. Considering they've cleared T5, They should be better. It's like playing with Tanks who don't know how to tank swap properly yet have cleared Garuda Ex
I feel like we will get that eventually...
Final coil especially is jampacked with story content, maybe post expac they'll just offer some gimme coil content for dudes who want to see the story. If nothing, keeping it unsynced will at least let casual players obliterate instances with high ilvl eventually.

Oh yeah with the Lv 60 cap, new moves and gear it should be easier, but at the same time I doubt it will make much of a difference. Not without sever nerfing of the mechanics anyway.I do T5 for fun a lot and you see people with full Sol/poetic gear and they don't know how to deal with conflags and divebombs in the slightest. They've never seen the Twisters or Dreadknights and I doubt they ever will unless it gets nerfed again
I agree, but the other day I had one of the most interesting/frustrating T7 runs ever. I'd already done my DRG so I wanted the earrings for my WAR. MT on T7 was already ridiculously boring and easy so I always try and be OT when I can.
However the other tank just had no idea how to deal with Voice. Kept flashing me, the Melee and the boss. Sure post nerf being stoned doesn't really matter, but the boss became too powerful with the Fireballs. It was impossible. We asked him if there was a DPS class he could switch to but tanking was all he had/knew. He couldn't OT either.
Eventually I told him to just go Sword Oath the entire fight and DPS, effectively Solo tanking. Was quite fun since i actually had to manage my cooldowns and Inner Beasts properly!

Like deep into Heavensward, absolutely no one is going to give a single fuck about the previous coil anyhow.
I would like people who generally don't raid at least get to see what it has to offer in story at some point in the future.
Again if nothing else lvl 60 + super huge ilvl will destroy old coil if it goes unsynced

Got my coat and bracelet in one go the other day. That whole Healer getup looks so good. As a healer though, yeah, it was pretty boring.
