I have to admit, at least to me, I look darn sexy! I will be attending Vox's EB and my own EB with this outfit and my red santa hat for Holiday flair. That red metallic dye is quite nice....ok I'm calling it....new datacenters for East Coast coming due to my cash shop spending.
 
They put up a 90k info thread in the forums, connection has been absolutely horrible recently on FIOS dropped packets everywhere and I moved up in connection speed to 75/75 now. I ran a trial of wtffast and it was like night and day in terms of difference. After about 3 hours of play I had packet losses in the hundreds counted vs the WTFfast 0 drops in statistics. Fucking FIOS.

No joke, after practicing the ceremony myself and all of the normal cutscenes having humans i want to see what they do for Lalas regarding the table. Do you get a shorter table? Do you get stepstools? Do you hover? I must know! (aka I will attend if there's room)

The chapel in East Shroud. One of the npcs outside the main doors will let you in if you got an invitation.

Yeah if anyone wants the minion speak up. I doubt there will be a lot of interest considering the time but I expect it to be done pretty quick.

Will be hilarious if they have them on those lalafelian stepstools you can make in-game.

That is very interesting. I have FiOS also, but they don't drop the packets, mine are dropped around the border. I also signed up for WTfast and it really didn't do anything. It dropped packets left and right. Plus, I wouldn't trust the stats WTfast gives you; there is no way to independently verify their claims (that I know of).
 
You know you are sickly in-love with this game when you own both soundtracks, all cash shop items, the art book, ordered the plush and have even got an EB setup with a guy you've run dungeons with a few times and then red metallic dyed your EB outfit. Yes, I LOVE FFXIV! Not my first MMO, nor my second, but I love this one!

I mean, you can see the path on the network and see if it's routing you around the trouble nodes. You did launch WTFast correctly, right? Where you launch it before the game (and, in the case of linked with Steam, you have some other stuff to do for the setup).

If it's still not helping, you probably have a problem with your modem / router rather than a routing issue.

You can check packets independently though, I've hit the bad node every fucking time and I have friends in Oregon using FIOS. When I fuck up, so does he. It's absolutely an issue, even if WTFfast is conflating the packet loss, it's the difference between physically seeing mor dhona play green light/red light without WTFfast and absolutely baby butt smooth with it on.

I should take a video to show people just how bad it can get. Like I can't complete combos sometimes it's so bad.

As far as I know, you can't check packets independently, because only the FFXIV packets are in the WTfast vpn, hence why WTfast starts the game. Stuff like tracert is independent of the Wtfast tunnel. Once you hit Tier 3 even Verizon can't control what happens, because it is not their network.

I know i hit lag because I saw it in-game while Wtfast was running. It only happens in the early evening for me, almost daily, from 7pm-ish to 11pm-ish, then it clears up and no lost packets. I've checked the router multiple times and that's fine. What I might do is to use WTfast to enter Canada in like Vancouver and then use the normal Canadian routing from there and see if that is any better.
 
My connection goes to shiet after a certain time of the day, and everything keep freezing every 10-20 seconds, people stop walking and then walking again.

I read it's a common problem ever since the DoS attacks, so no idea how to fix it.

This relic step is going to be really simple once sold starts raining in 2.5. Maybe SE finally got the stick out of their ass in regards to relics.

I know some folks that still need T7 and such, can always line them up and carry them through one at a time, for the Soldiery Bonus.

Heck, I think Freyja still needs T5 too, though I don't see FreyFrey on all that often anymore. <_<;;

No carries on help night Tia. I also don't really think it's possible to carry someone in T7 anymore because it's so easy. I could be proven wrong though.

Well, that answers that question. I guess I'll wait for steam/amazon to put it on sale. I'd try best buy, but I doubt they'd price match square-enix's site.
