There was a thread on the OF before this patch begging SE to not "ruin" MC market like FC3 was. So yes, I am absolutely positive there will be people upset about the artisan turn in changes.

If you haven't started up the game yet, then yes your first 30 days are free. I believe you need to create a Square Enix account, and you will link it with your PSN account. I don't remember the particulars but na.finalfantasyxiv.com is a good place to start.

OK, thanks. So it sounds like the 30 days come with the Square Enix account. I'll check it out.

Man, EB hits hard. Ain't nobody got time for Bahamut when marriage is afoot. They should have added a super platinum tier where Hildibrand is the best man.

Iirc that huge hunt drama which happened on the English servers never happened on the Japanese ones.

Soldiery, Seals, AND Gil! Not an Absurd number of any of these things mind you, but until enough that some people will need to start grinding.

I myself still need 20 Seals for the last Bombard Core, I have 7k.

I'm not sure if I'm just lucky or something, but I'm surprised how nice DF people have been during the dungeon drop grind. Nearly all of the people I've run with so far have been friendly and polite. It's made the grind a lot more enjoyable.

You need to download and install the game. You'll be walked through creating a Square Enix account or linking an existing account to your PSN ID. After that the game license will register itself to your SE account and your 30 days begin.

If you have a PS4 I think (NOT 100% SURE) you might be able to get 44 days of game time by downloading the Trial version (comes out next week in the US I believe) for the 14 day game time it comes with and then downloading the PS3 version once your trial is over to begin the 30 days included with the full game.

Context, I'm talking in terms of persevering difficulty. A lot of these fights are difficult initially, but become super easy after the first few clears.

Leaning towards Ramah, but it's hard to say, since you can't over gear on Ramah nearly as much as you can for Titan yet

Titan EX is definitely harder IMO. While it took me a month to clear Ramuh EX, it was due to players in DF and PF not knowing what they were doing or just rage quitting after the first two wipes.

Titan EX is just hard, bottom line.

Sorry to anyone I just vanished on mid-conversation; big windstorm just took out power to me and it looks like a number of surrounding blocks.

Just a handful of fragrant log windows away from forager's hatchet, too.
