It annoys me a little that the story forces me to do dungeons. I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't make me sit in a queue for like an hour to do it.

HNNNG That Trailer. I just.

The WoD gear looks pretty nice overall. Like a darker version of CT's gear, which I am very okay with.

New dungeons look pretty interesting with new models and stuff for a bunch of the bosses. Didn't catch any Demon Wall in AK though ;-;

I want to free ALL of the Tonberries. I may have to get a house in Wanderer's Palace now.

There were 2 demon walls! Didn't look like you actually fight them though.

I feel like I should spoiler this. I dunno it's in the trailer:
I am going to be disappointed if Midgarsormr ends up just being a dungeon boss though. Maybe that's the mystery trial.

Double Demon Wall in the background of that shot with the adventurers in a circle filled with pots.

D: I guess I wasn't paying attention. If you don't fight them, what's the point!? D: As for the spoiler, yeah, if it's just a lackluster dungeon boss I'll be super disappointed.

Looks really good and I have to applaud SE for being so consistent with the release of quality content. I'm about to head to the bank and will be re-subbing today to try to catch up a little prior to next week. Looking forward to WoD and Hildrebrand story continuation, I'm also gonna concentrate on getting crafting/gathering classes maxed.

It doesn't look like Midgardsormr proper, so it could just be something akin to the Kraken fight from Hullbreaker - perhaps a harbinger of something bigger to come featuring it? Yes. In this instance I'm using Sasha HM as "something bigger". I have low standards.

Why does the Ironworks gear look like crap but the WOD gear is AMAZING? I am so happy with the latter design.

During Wanderer's Palace part, everybody was wearing new Not WoD gear except for the BLM. Poor BLM. And poor Tonberries being oppressed. So presumably we're getting another set of gear, maybe dungeon drops?

Music was excellent all around.

Haha, I can see me rationalizing with myself now "I've only had 3 hours of sleep, but I can make do on that, gotta see what cards Urianger is holding, oh and let me stop by Rowena to."

It looked like everyone in the WoD section was using Shiva weapons (WHM looked like Ramuh cane to me actually), not the crafted WoD stuff. Huh.

Confirmed I need to level a caster for this patch's best hat. Do I go SMN for SCH queue times (and by extension be able to equip Tomo's book and taunt him with it in person), or BLM because lolsmn. NOPE IT'S HEALER GEAR. Who wants to carry my WHM through WoD in the name of fashion?

Bard gear looks meh but they'll probably do something like make the chestpiece and pants crit/det just to mess with everyone.

Edit: I figured it out.

They completely removed any WoD weapons from promotional materials - Famitsu screenshots have them using base relics.

Well, the endgame is glamours, so you don't want the "freebie" gear to be the prettiest, right?

Though, to be fair, the healer poetics set looks really great. (I think the worst poetic set is the tank gear with the child-bearing cyberhips for tassets and the cyberbucket for a helmet.)

I think I'm most hype for the first part of the main scenario. Looks like they are saving the ishgard junk for part 2 and we get to deal with the more interesting threats.

It looks like healer and caster share the same appearance, just that the feather is on a different side and the color is of course different.

Not happy with the bard hat? Just get the hat and ignore everything else.

Bard hat is just a slightly swoopier AF hat; better than AF but still eh. Also the bard is using the stupid harp bow while holding an entirely seperate harp.

Much prefer the color palette of the healer set to caster; black/white is a pretty cliche way for them to go, but I do think the white stuff looks nicer.
