Looks like they combined all parts of 2.5 so no one should expect subsequent trailers for those either.

So hype! Are there any good screenshots of the WoD gear that everyone seems to hate now? Couldn't really make most of them out.
Still have not forgiven them for the color choices with Amon's coat. That set was so close to being perfection but they botched the coat.
If be surprised if part 2 didn't get a trailer. All they did was let people know that the story would be a to be continued here in 2.50. 2.55 or 2.58, whatever part 2 is, still has other stuff aside from just main scenario finishing.
All these years and we can toss it into a dungeon and promptly forget about it /cheer

Actually kind of interested in seeing the 2.55 questline play out. And just to see how many of the Death Flags go through (probably none).
Also note the stupid amount of Primals released in that explosion too. Primals forever!

I must say the Gold Saucer remix is very pleasing to the ears.
There was a post mortem thread of 1.0 shortly before 2.0 released where Localization head talked about the production process and what things were 'meant' to become as long as it was stuff he knew weren't going to come back in some form later. That bar is actually the original look for Limsa Lominsa's bar before they actually started making the bar itself in game (The opening sequence was created before much of any of the 1.0 geometry was made or finalized). That bar simply doesn't exist and won't exist as seen in that trailer. As for the tavern in the artwork, not sure there ever was anything in game that it was based on, think that artwork was mainly a 'proof of concept' art piece of gathering adventurers of a variety of 'arms'. The original 1.0, at least in concept, was centered around the Guild Leve system and how you became what you wore. There are certain things I wish had stayed the same from 1.0, but make no mistake the original 1.0 is not worth revisiting.
Things really got real for the scions. Also Enkidu finally got his actual form back...somehow.

There is really no need for tanks to share reso/cleaves outside of tether. Reso is 100% predictable damage and either tank has plenty of cooldowns for them. It doesn't even hit that hard without cooldowns.
It's been mentioned before that a lot of JPN players play with English audio because they think it sounds better too. Grass always greener

I was on for day one ST but not cool enough to make the full GAF run, RIP. I ended up in an overflow group that got into an ST where some dude /shouted all the boss strats before every fight. Need to either bribe a spot or just YOLO with randoms morning-of so I can get through blind.
I think I can get my hands on some nice elemental resist materia though.

Somehow I'm expecting the first 2 hours of the main story quest being horrible fetch shit and then in the final 20 minutes things get good right before the "to be continued".
I don't think the main story additions have ever been anywhere near good as they appear to be in these trailers. It's like a trailer for a bad comedy, all the funny parts are in the trailer and you're left with bad jokes when you go and see the movie.
Already know she is an Au Ra so think the reveal has lost it's punch.

that WAR/PLD and Healer armor looks allright. the rest looks like filler. actually, you can plainly see it's just filler armor. oh well, time to collect more dread stuff.
eh, they really cut down on the fetch quest stuff in the main scenarios for a while now. 2.1 was the absolute worst for that, but since then they have had more voice acted cutscenes and less filler stuff. I think they are still finding a good balance. They did good in 2.4 by integrating the new dungeon with the story.

Ranketsu made the same mistake on the full GAF ST day 1 run.
Not nearly as bad as fetching tea leaves.
I seem to remember that. I think that all but 3 or four spots were taken by mumble people and when it opened up for the FC people, they got snapped up pretty quick. I might just log on early and do it blind, and then try to get in on the GAF run.

Adds everywhere. Every tank fighting for aggro on the boss. WHMs tanking. Gonna be fun.
Loool. This makes so much sense but was way before I figured out FC genpop functions as filler when Mumble can't fill with their own, so I never put it together. All I really remember is the call going out for tanks/healers and then suddenly everything was full.
Oh well. I still got a Amon's hat my first ST, and that's all that really mattered.
