I don't remember garuda having raid wide wipe mechanics? Plenty of guides on youtube though, so check those out
When she teleports to mid in the final phase, everyone has to get behind her. Next jump she goes north, everyone needs to go far south in the safe area.
Garuda story is way, way tougher than anything up to that point and level sync keeps it pretty serious.

If Dark Knights are FFT cool and use scythes then I will definitely try that class.

Why waste time developing a good UI when you can make it full customizable and let the users make a good one for you? Some of the stuff addon makers came up with were really nice, so much choice too.

They are using two handed swords.
Warriors, by a country mile.
Essentially every save for AF and Myth armor is cross class tank armor, so this is the only set you'll only see as a Warrior. Much better looking than the blue tunic looking thing PLD's get.
DRK use 2h swords here.
As for armor, all the tank armor is shared except for PvP and artifact gear. PLD wins PvP gear, WAR wins AF gear, everyone wins since current best armor is shared (High Allagan). Based off the artwork, DRK will soon

I'll check a guide on youtube I guess. Her mistress song move hit me for 2700 hp while I have a max of about 2000 and I was drinking the wind resistance potion.
I suppose it's one of those gimmick I didn't get in the fight :/

Not going to lie, almost every player I seen that played either a DRG or BRD at launch of 2.0 were dumb as bricks

Garuda Story Mode is the hardest fight in the game including Coil.

It's not haha, but it is the hardest story mode fight if you go into it with 4 new players. They really throw a bunch of shit at you for the first time that requires speed and such

In-regards to the patch, I'm definitely going to jump into the Odin Primal battle earlier on than I did with Leviathan EX, Ramuh EX, and Shiva EX. I always procrastinate and do them later, but by that time everyone is fully knowledgeable with the fight so I feel a bit...lost when I join.

Incidentally, the Japanese Famitsu article seems to call the Gilgamesh fight, "HM," hopefully that means we'll get a full on Extreme mode later.
Though I'd imagine if we did, it'd be one of the Minstrels Balled Trials, seeing as it'd have to be purely optional, and outside the Hildebrand storyline.

Resist potions are useless in this game, don't sweat them.
And yeah if you're eating Mistrel Song you're missing a dodge somewhere. You're not supposed to be able to survive it.
In the four times I can remember doing Garuda story post-needing-it-myself, we wiped two of them and only one-shot the third because the tank remembered how to dodge while everyone else died.
It's a tough fight made worse by HM and EX versions working completely differently.

It's the community consensus, and there some decent logic behind it. (Mainly that it requires less skill to do the task competently.)
You are right that over the course of a fight, Warrior can mitigate more if they know all the timings and such. However, most players value ease of learning over theoretical max potential.
Aren't PS4 games always installed anyway? Disc is just there to verify you got it? I don't know why you'd need to redownload.
But to be safe don't do it till tomorrow.
Community consensus means jack shit when it isn't based off anything legitmate. For example your basis is a horrible one, you're basically saying that WAR will be worse if the player is bad. Well yeah, who'd of thunk it? Bad players will be bad. It's not as if it's some complex class to learn, any good PLD will know all the timings for fights to begin with. That's like the first thing you learn in an encounter as tank, when moves will hit and how your cooldowns can be timed to counter them.
We've been over this a hundred times, and the only reason I continue to indulge you is because there are new players who read this thread and last thing they need is people giving them the wrong impression. If you really want to you can say a bad pld will be better than a bad war, but don't say that a PLD is a straight up better tank than WAR, it's utter bullshit and just spreads more nonsense.
