The worst is in T10 when a lag spike hits when I'm supposed to be stacking for tether or charge. "I was there damnit!!"

Yeah, I've been getting a lot over the weekend and a little bit into yesterday as well. Felt like I was back in titan ex again before the fixes. Doing T13 and I'm out of the red circle for a good 2 seconds before it disappears and I still take the hit.

In 1.0 I took my LTW further in the main story quest (lvl 30 iirc and had to parley some fights) than my battle classes. Eventually you hit a wall, but it was crazy to think I made it that far.

I continue to hope that the best Triple Triad cards are rare drops from Toto-Rak, AV, and Mog EX.

OT7 subtitle can just be a string of random expletives.

So how do you guys handle the double prey during the add phase in Turn 10? I'm trying to Adlo both targets but I keep missing the second target...am I just too slow?

A fairly safe way to do it is to Adlo first target then swiftcast Adlo second target. You only get double prey once(well assuming DPS is good enough), so swiftcast cooldown isn't an issue. You can also work with the WHM, he stoneskins one and you adlo another, but that creates a lack of healing for a period, and stoneskinning it is a bit harder if you don't cast right away. You can hard cast adlo on both targets, but you need to start right away, and a few times I had the 2nd one land at the same time as prey go off and mess up, so I swiftcast now(still miss it every now and then cause the swiftcast happens after I start casting adlo, thanks lag).

When I did WoD yesterday it rained healer and NIN drops. Nothing I can use. So hopefully tonight I'll get something.

Also, it took me almost a year on and off to get my primary class over iLVL100, but it took literally 20 minutes for my second class to hit iLVL 100 once it reached 50. This goddamn game.

Still need to get the Demon Fending Coat, but I got the DRG Boots last week, so it hasn't been a total loss. (Accuracy Determination, that's legit!)

I overall enjoy WoD a lot, but, dang it feels like it could use one more Treasure Box, just to break down the loot table a bit more.

Neat. Stopped playing in November, but I guess one weekend wouldn't hurt...

Started reading the 2.5 patch notes and noticed that you can play the PS4 version with the Playstation Move now!? That's crazy. Anyone try it out?
Someone needs to form an all PS Move raid group.

This is the only correct answer. WP hard is pretty great too.

Yessssss I love the music in WP hard!! I think in general it's the hard mode dungeon I find the most entertaining out of the new ones!
dat cutscene after the last boss tho

Speaking of the new hard mode dungeons.. Which of the three is the quickest to clear, in the opinion of this thread?

I remember before the patch, Snowcloak was very clearly the quickest to get through (at least for the most part), but I can't really seem to tell with these new three..

Keeper of the Lake seems the shortest, technically, but i find that the boss fights in there take considerably longer!

AK hard feels fastest to me out of the new dungeons. Keeper of the lake is also relatively fast, except for the last boss which takes a bit. Don't know if anything will ever be a fast a clear as Snowcloak though, in and out in 15 minutes with a good party.

Keeper of the Lake feels like it takes AAAGES for me due to the bosses.
Right?! I thought the dungeon was quite short in length but those bosses take FOREVER hahaha especially that last one!! A bit stressful for me as a healer, as well :p

Yup! Snowcloak was my go-to dungeon if I needed quick poetics on Monday night :p.

I've only run AK hard once. I should try it again and see how quickly I can get through it :).

Do you mean going forward? Because WP regular and Brayflox HM were both sub-10 minutes if you had your shit together.

Ah right, those are really fast. Snowcloak just sticks out because for a solid month there I'd get it on EXDR 90% of the time, whereas I've only run WP normal and Bray HM a handful of times. But yes, a Bray HM speedrun is probably 10 mins or so.

5th CT3, which I did with my FC: Body Bard get! The other two bards already had it :) ilvl 116 for now. I own nearly all Shiva weapons, I got Boreas... and, yet, never did T9 and still need to unlock T10+. I still have a long way to go.

Why is Cloud of Darkness so hard for people??

Well, some people seem to forget that they need to play the whack-a-mole game with the tentacules, not to mention people failing to go into the hexagonal zones in order to kill the adds, the mandatory guy targeted by the laser who runs among the other players or just don't move at all and, worst of all, people failing to go under the big balls to prevent them from exploding on everyone (errrr... could have phrased that sentence better).

This. Specifically there being two of them at once--people can handle the clouds or the meteors, maybe, but letting them team up is just chaos.

I just want to know why the bonus tank only ever picks up half the Wolfsbane in Cerberus. What the hell else is he doing.

If you've only touched casual content in this game, most of the fights are pretty light on actual mandatory mechanics, especially once you gear up a bit. Anyone that only does this sort of content going into WoD, isn't going to be especially useful.

WoD was designed for this mind you. There is no real mechanic that requires perfect execution among the entire raid, and usually only about half the raid needs to be on thier toes to avoid the wipe mechanics.

But, the less people pulling thier own weight, the harder it becomes.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
Not trying to excuse dumb people here, but there are a lot of mechanics on the raids (even the first two) that are completely unknown to people who have never done them before or even people who have done them few times or seldomly. I still learn knew ways that I'm playing wrong in the first two raids and I've done them a couple times each. It really doesn't help when the people who do know how to do it start calling people idiots in /a instead of trying to explain things, but that's what happens 99% of the time.
