So what other poetics gear do I grab for Sch? Got the head, belt, feet, wrist and ring so far. Upgraded the bracelet and will do the same with the ring the week.

Chest is decent, mostly because WoD is capped at 120 and spellspeed based and the Dreadwyrm drops on T13, so you want a chest better than Daystar before you get that. After that, it's all mostly crap, but you might still want the jewelry for mind and shit. Crafted neck/ring are imo a lot better than other alternatives though, dreadwyrm earring is what you want and that's T10 iirc so not bad. Pants T11, gloves WoD(or ironworks once they add better carbontwine sources than 50hunts, but at 120 WoD are a lot better).

So how do you guys handle the double prey during the add phase in Turn 10? I'm trying to Adlo both targets but I keep missing the second target...am I just too slow?
The SCH in my group aldo's both targets, so speed is a factor, but ask the WHM to help with stone skins if you can't get to them fast enough.

No. I still at times miss raiding with former raid groups.

In my group the whm gets the second prey. In second set, when only one daughter remains the sch switches to dps and the whm shields the last prey.
That's the plan anyway, sometimes we hear "I got it, I got it... oh I didn't get it".
Adlo-->swiftcast-->Adlo if you want to save some time.

Yes, you're too slow. Scholar can adlo both targets in time provided there isn't a crippling lag in the connection and that's enough for Prey. A lot of groups use some kind of coordination between WHM and SCH, like SCH goes from the bottom of the list towards the top and WHM goes from the top of the list to bottom. If you're missing the adlo timing consistently consider wasting a swiftcast on the second one. If it helps, the first double prey comes out in roughly 2 GCDs after the spawn I think?

I'm not ashamed to admit I only understand about half the mechanics of WoD.
In other news I finally got my first Lucis tool, the WVR one. With this I think I won't meld my off-hand until it's needed. I'll just put a CPIII in there and call it a day.
I think I'll focus on getting my gatherers up to speed now. I'm a 2* miner, with welfare melds and the others aren't even at 50. Fishing is so boring though.
Level 150 Death and Level 100 Flare will hit if the number of people in the circle is divisive by 3 or 2 respectively. Basically get out. If you see yourself linked to the binded target when the cast hits, gg.

Free login weekend this weekend. Anyone who finished 2.4 stuff should have absolutely no trouble completing everything in 2.5 over the free weekend.

Lately I've been browsing through some of the OST on YouTube and there is a fantastic amount of great music in this game. I really can't recall the last game I played with such a great soundtrack. So I've been inspired to list and chart my favourites that I've been enjoying the most in the passed few months I've been playing. This is my top ten. Not trying to say these are the best all round but these are my favs. I'm sure everyone's top ten is different.
Honourable mention to this. I don't know what it's called but it plays in Upper La.
10. Undying Faith. This is short but sweet.
9. Pitfire. You can never mistake when you are in Amalj'aa territory.
8. Skulldiggery. Minimalist but I like it.
7. Hubris. Still the best Crystal Tower track I reckon.
6. Fallen Angel. Guaruda's theme is a classic.
5. Tenacity. Great time levelling to this.
4. Ultima
3. Calamity Unbound. The martial drums and horn just make this such a great battle track.
2. Steel Reason. I love this.
1. To the Sun. Still my fav track I in the game.

It happened towards the end of the first attempt. I can assure you no one was happy lmao. It was quite something. Someone stated it was some 12 to 14 people died due to that alone, I didn't count but it wiped out everyone but one guy in our alliance B and A's was like 1/2 gone.
I was hoping for this, but free login weekend is probably going to blow things up again. It's frustrating because in the general world everything is totally fine and I think I'm good, then I start an instance and randomly everything just sits there for five seconds mid-fight. It's usually fairly recoverable, and you don't want to be That Guy blaming everything on lag, but it's not like I need the additional challenge when it comes to staying alive.
It's going to be two hours of Yoship losing in Triple Triad.
Gambling in this game is already in full force.

Well there's already a casino in the game. About 100k a pop, with some pretty good payouts. I've been playing a lot lately.
The worst is in T10 when a lag spike hits when I'm supposed to be stacking for tether or charge. "I was there damnit!!"
