Yeah instances are non stop all action stops for a few moments and then jumps ahead...which is kinda okay if you aren't trying to do Final Coil
In my experience, that particular flavor of lag is caused by packet loss. If you're running WTFAST it should be able to confirm if your connection is dropping data.
I would also consider doing a trace-route to the server, I forget the type, but there is a sort of trace that'll just keep pinging the server over and over, it'll let you know if data is timing out, and if so, where.
Also, be prepared to look at your router and modem. I had a similar issue last summer, and it turned out that the router firmware was bugging out in response to all those small packets of data being sent back and forth so heavily. It was appearently, especially obvious in instances, I would assume because the data was flying around a lot more actively.
I fixed the problem by having my brother in law install a custom firmware.

Everyone queues In Progress now, if half the WoD raid leaves after a boss, a bunch of people will queue in literally seconds later and the run continues. I've been in WoD runs where all the DPS in my group left after the first or second boss, oh well, a bunch of guys left, here come some new ones.

lol. i had that happen too 1x. but raid fills up quickly so it doesn't bother me much.
where the shit is my monk loot though.
That raid I was in fell apart completely so it doesn't always happen, but I do notice that slots fill a lot faster in WoD. Speaking of, are people just hyper resistant to change with the A/B/C vs All-DPS method on cerby or what. Had a raid argument just pop out from it
EDIT: I'm still trying for the damn BRD chest piece, finally saw it once but lost the roll to a person running WoD for the first time. This game hates me

Kagari always gets everything she wants, I don't even pretend to be surprised anymore. Despite the complete lack of scientific evidence to prove it, the reality is that in life some people are actually luckier than others and no one knows why. The guy who got struck by lightning 7 times but never killed was probably both the luckiest and unluckiest person in the world at the same time.
So, some T13 fail, but had Xeno come assist us lol since we were down a DPS last night. So much random megaflare death. But yeah since he was there, means he was also streaming us.

Crit/Det. You're flooded with Accuracy anyway on the gear.
Crit/Det. Then Acc if you you are poor and don't want to spend millions on Tier IV materia that will just blow up on you.
Or just play BLM because itemization is shit for SMNs now.
I'd do Piety over Accuracy as filler, honestly.
Alternatively, at least 1 point of Accuracy since our full BiS sits us at 534 Accuracy.

Its not THAT hard either. Especially if someone takes change and does some call outs for lightening spheres.
Take a break and knock out some backlogged stuff. Dont burn yourself out when so much good stuff is right around the corner (sorta).

i went with crit/det. you can put some acc there if you want to save money or be on the safe side. you can't go wrong with any of those combos.

This is why I don't understand why people complain about others leaving after their loot doesn't drop, caling a dick move etc. If the alliance fills back up right away, what's the big deal?
I don't even know if there's any reason for me to do WoD anymore. I got the one piece I cared about for stats, the three pieces I cared about for glamour, and am down to buying and poverty coating terrible acc/skillspeed acessories so it's not like I need the weekly anymore.
Maybe I should make it a goal to collect all the belts.

It's probably because they get the impression that the effort they put into the duty wasn't reciprocated. I think it's easy to interpret it this way if you feel honour-bound to stick it out or something, but I don't really get it either - chances are that some of the people you have running the whole thing are doing nothing at all the whole time anyway.
It doesn't matter if the player you're partying with is going for his second Zodiac weapon. Just check a list of regions where atma drops before the two of you run around South Shroud for about an hour bemoaning a lack of drops.
I did get that Boughbury Burning achievement though, so not an entire waste.
Because if I'm stuck running this god damn dungeon all the way through, so should you!
So my group finally downed T12 yesterday. We were missing two members since 2.4 hit, yet we managed to clear T10 and T11 weekly with pugs, but most of them didn't want to train T12 so we logged on tuesday, cleared T10&11 and called it off for the week. But this week we finally recruited two competent players and it took us two days. We even managed to push 4 bennus.
With a static group I think we'll down T13 soon. The only drawback? I had to drop my SCH and re-roll to BRD, to accomodate the new members. Oh well, at least I already had the i120 weapon.

I was asking cuz when I was looking at the relic weapon quest there were always horror stories of having to wait days or weeks for atma to drop but I got 7 of them in an hour so I didn't know if I was just lucky or if atma rate got upped. Thanks though!

I figured this was assumed once they said they would be there with a primal challenge fight. Glad to hear an exact date and time frame for when info will be hitting the streets though.
