I don't deal with tips ("please pay me for clicking one button" seems silly when I'm probably just going to keep BSing in chat/LS or watching Netflix anyway) but a lot of it will depend on how much you need melded I guess. 5-10K for a couple of melds maybe? But if you're looking for a full pentameld or something where we're talking 20+ meld attempts, that seems pretty low.
I dunno, if you're on night time Pacific you can probably hit me up and I'll meld whatever.

Welp I get my PS4 tomorrow and thus will be able to make my return to this game after being out of it for nearly a year. Still need to transfer from PS3 account to PS4 account.

Wouldn't for a second roll just because some stranger asked me to, unless of course I needed/wanted the piece. I don't think it's even a little impolite to not roll either.
Usually when somebody asks the party to roll, they just mean hit need, greed, or pass instead of running the timer down. Here the guy wanted to win loot and leave; he didn't want other people to actually need/greed on the item, he just wanted everyone to click the button so the loot would be distributed.
It is kind of annoying to roll on an item that would be an upgrade and then have to wait five minutes/multiple pulls for the item because people don't want to click pass. You also can't kick someone while a loot roll is pending, which is annoying.
Stranger danger! But yeah, he just wanted people to greed/pass/etc to get the rolls to go through.
They do. Ran one last night that had two tanks leave and several dps. Spots were filled very quickly.

You must not have ran with me, I had ditching WoD runs down to a science so that I didn't get penalties. I don't have time for that crap when I only ever wanted loot from first boss and last boss.
Ah, that makes more sense. I assumed roll = need or greed (where you'll get a number) and not pass. Would have to be very persuasive to get others to roll need/greed on things they didn't want.

You're not maximizing your DPS. Get close for staff slaps if possible -> Aero 2 -> Aero -> Fluid Aura -> Swift Stone 2 -> PoM -> Stone 2 Spam until Fluid Aura off CD -> Re-apply dots, fluid aura, go back in to stone 2 spam
I think Holy is a waste of MP for only two mobs, needs to be three or more.

Honestly, I don't even care that people leave WoD. I only care about the people who AFK and then leave. At least participate for the like 10 minutes you're there.
I don't actually think the Swift + Stone 2 is actually gaining anything after around 3 seconds of it being cast. Edit: Well, I guess it's trimming the cast delay off the PoM so it's like a .5s save at the cost of Swiftcast.
And you should refresh DoTs as they're falling off (<1s Aero, <3-5s Aero 2) which means that Aero, Aero 2 will be staggered on reapplication. Might as well milk all the points of damage.
The best are the people who pretend to be there by at least going to the fights but then walking out as they get pulled.
It's like ... they're not participating but not even really AFK. I don't get it.
I think it tends to be Aero 2 -> Aero -> FA -> PoM -> Stone 2 simply due to the whole "approach the boss during Aero GCD to FA" thing. Same for SMN rotation doing Miasma 2 after using the Bio GCD to approach the boss.
...though the full WHM PoM thing is more of an enrage burn so the "approach" part shouldn't actually matter.
Got something like 50 of my 75 with FATEs alone. So yeah it does work, just go find a N Than fate party, throw on some shitty lvl45 armor bought at the ceruleum vendor and spirit bind while you do it so you make money. Made a couple mil and got a lot of the materia I had intended to use that way.
A friend of mine got 60ish of them in three days doing FATEs. It's a matter of luck and never leaving your desk. Mostly never leaving. Ever.
Hunts is far and away better at it though if you don't need twine/coats. Soldiery next along with dailies.
Man I don't have patience for 3 days of nothing but fates.
Ditto, unless I'm doing Atma or something. I'm not going to spam Fates for Alexandrites when I can get Alexandrites using Allied Seals, EXDR's, and Soldiery Tomes.

Everytime I see someone with an atma I get ill. I think I might be medically dead at this point.
Just a thought, don't you think there should be an option to cancel Need/Greed rolls? Especially since there's content where you only get to roll on one item per week?
On the one where I, "FINALLY!," got my WoD-Tank Chest this week, I accidentally hit Greed on some healer gloves, thankfully of course, one of the Healers rolled Need. I'm not sure what I would've done if I'd accidentally locked myself out and THEN the chest rolled like that.
Back on point though, yeah, there should be an option to change Need or Greed into a Pass after the fact, just for situations like that. I mean, yeah on Trials you can just leave the instance, but still..

I got the last 20 or so from doing hunts, it is better but it isn't necessarily faster. You're limited by hunt spawn times... Which fucking suck. Personally I would hunt and do Fates at the same time during that last 25. If you're going to buckle down and do alex farming, you're basically accepting the fact that you're going to waste a shitload of time doing a lot of nothing for a while... which I guess could extend to most steps on relics.
I think you misunderstood. I meant, cancel out of your need or greed role, IE, to back out of your roll after the fact, not to cancel the Need/Greed roll for the whole party.
I mean, I guess a secondary verification click would work just as well to avoid accidental needs/greeds, but still.
Just checking on a dummy real quick, Aero before FA means your GCD ends slightly faster (so getting into the Stone 2's faster) while FA first means FA is up slightly faster. @2.38s recast, the GCD fits that PoM ends the animation lock when you can start casting where the other way you're waiting a short period of time before the GCD ends.

You could like, take a second before clicking and make sure you are doing the right thing. At best I'd take an optional confirmation window that you can turn on/off in settings.
It was just so much more interesting than your usual posts.
This was a case of a 360 controller D-pad fail, though usually I'm a bit more careful about where the cursor is before hitting the accept button. (Mistakes happen tho.)
An optional confirmation window would certainly help prevent this. Even there though, there are times when somebody speaks up after the fact and really needs something you've rolled on. In cases like that it'd be nice to have to option to click, "Forfeit Roll," but I suppose that'd be a fairly niche case.
Yeaaaaah, unless things went really badly during that first boss, that's just poor sportsmanship right there.
i hope you're using fluid aura between other casts since it's off gcd!!!!
Drama's WHM dps is the key to your group clearing T12 and T13.

The way loot works in World of Nomura is unjustifiably awful. You can't blame them for leaving if what they wanted was only from the first boss.
The drop I really want is from the second boss so I hope lots of people leave after the first boss, then I will get lots of In Progress pops at the second boss and I can save time not having to kill the first boss over and over.
Oh yes I can!! (grrface.)
And some people think Ninja's have more style than Dragoons. XD

This lag seems to be getting worse for me, I'm not sure if it's just Comcast being horrible or what. Using a VPN doesn't seem to help me much in instances...outside of them, everything works perfectly fine.
I mean I get that people don't have all the time in the world to devote to full runs of WoD constantly, but when half the raid leaves and essentially destroys the run, i'm left scratching my head. I guess stuff like that happens with the loot distribution being the way it is.
