I feel as though this is gonna be one of those annoying things that I have little control over. It's almost like Huton precasts before pull-if the tank isn't decent at positioning that is.

On Reddit there's a discussion about the potential for Blitzball to be added.
Since Heavensward will have flying mounts the groundwork for aerial movement will be laid, which opens up the possibilty for a Blitzball like game.
I wouldn't expect such a thing so soon after Gold Saucer but I would like to see it happen at some point.

So we can only have one card thats above one star and the rest one star cards? o.o
you have to get 30 cards in your deck to use unlimited 2 star and one 3 star, and 60 for unlimited 3

Had somewhat a crummy run in WoD but least i got the Onion Knight card.
This. There's like 50+ people crowded around any NPC you can play Triple Triad with at all times. Gold Saucer is packed (I wasn't even able to teleport there the last couple of days).
In other news, one shot turn 13 today. Now back to card games, the true endgame.

Well I can safely say that SMN has made dungeons infinitely more interesting than they used to be. It's simply a much better AoE job than DRG and can sustain AoE DMG longer.

That entry had the worst of the entire franchise as far as I'm concerned, so no thank you.
Seriously concerned by my lack of interest in grinding out Triple Triad cards. It is the new end game and thus far I just totally don't care enough to put effort behind it. Part of it may be that I'm completely sick of HM primal spam and just suck at TT in general.
Not required, but they give light. It's not the fastest method, but it's a steady source while waiting for queues or if you can't take the thought of another Garuda. Plus the chance for an Alex drop if you want to respec or make anothe Novus.

Garuda's bright like every other window...whhhhhhhhhy? It kills my interest to farm (and I'm still trying to get my Nexus!).

I can always last two or three Garuda runs before I give up and do something else. Turn 4 is the best instance to do for light.
Of course I'm nothing more than a casual player so all I have to show for it is a Novus nowhere close to Nexus, even after so many months of having it.

Please no Blitzball. It was dreadful. Nothing says more "We have no idea what we're doing" than turning an action-packed sports into a menu-based RPG bullshit. It's like playing Dissidia in the menu input mode, you can, but why the hell would you want to? It was just awful, and all the complaints about how stats and progression matter too much to racing and triad instead of you know, pure gameplay? They'd be multiplied tenfold. I know this is an RPG and all but damn that doesn't mean everything must revolve around silly minmaxing math.
Racing is fun because you control it. In 13-2 you don't and I never did it in 13-2.

Blitzball was flawed but amazing once you learned all the intricacies. I leveled up a good team learning the best moves and on the way grew to completely love it. Most people who just played it to get through the story probably never gave it a real chance IMO.
Mist mostly, also been running into a lot of GAFers in Gold Saucer.

It's unrealistic but I would have loved if they had used the Black Mages cover of the Cloud of Darkness.
It's an excellent track, buuuuut, the tone is all wrong for what they were going for in WoD. Honestly I think they pretty much nailed it with the music, though of course that's just my opinion.
Has anybody else been farming Indolent Imperial a lot? I'm using what I think is the standard deck for him (Amal'ja, Memeroon, Scarface Bugaal Ja, Frixio, Mutamix) and most of the time it's trivial to win, but I can not figure out how to deal with him opening with Gaius top middle. I lose this most of the time and am lucky to draw. This is the only opening he does that usually ends in a loss for me. Anybody figure out of it's possible to win? The only thing I can think of to try is to play bad/reckless on purpose and hope I can bait him into leaving a card exposed.
Also has anybody actually gotten a Gaius drop off this clown? I've gotten a good 40-50 of the assorted other cards he drops and not seen a Gaius.

In raw efficiency I would say doing 7 DPS runs of Cape West wind is where it is at. The boss can be downed in 40 seconds or under depending on your DPS. Which is like 10-20 seconds faster than Garuda. Granted you'll probably go insane from running it so much but in terms of raw efficiency I think that is where it's at unless T4 or Garuda have bonus.

I love how empty all of the cities and zones feel like because everyone hangs out at da Saucer. I can warp into Mor Dhona without having to wait now!

Can you get a plot for a bit more than 2 million? I haven't kept up on how much land has been selling these days.
TBH I saved up 5 mil to buy a house and even though it's nice to have my own spot in the world I hardly ever go there anymore. I'm not that into interior decorating and while gardening was cool for awhile having some thavnavarian onions die killed my will to garden. For those high end crops there's a pretty demanding watering schedule. If you miss a day they are dead and I can't log on for random days way too often. Also I'm way too lazy to gather soil regularly. So, I'm back to hanging out in Mist again.

I just booted the game up for the free weekend after being gone for 4-5 months and have been doing dungeons that have been added since as DPS. Have queue times dropped big time in general? I am getting 6-10 min queues instead of the 30-45+ I was getting before I unsubbed. I thought it would be worse with ninja being added. Is this normal now? (on ultros at least?).

I'm all for Blitzball being added as I'd doubt it would be menu based due to the mmo nature of the game.
