With the game "supposedly" coming out in the next 2-3 months(lol), there's no chance of more than the 3 classes they have announced so far. They have enough trouble as is remembering that certain classes even exist currently, yet people expect there to be more than 3 balanced jobs right off the bat?

This game refuses to let me get the Kan-E-Sanna card. I'm closing in on 200 wins against this dude. At least it's a great way to make MGP, but jeez!

How do I get more cards for Triple Triad?

Also, any good tips for learning how to not lose and how to juggle all these crazy rules?

Got Shiva card on the second run through Extreme mode. It's 1 8 8 8! I saw a Coerthan NPC use it and it annoyed me greatly.
Boy thank god for that JP duty finder where 2 people can be new and we still one-shot it!
The hunt for Terra card is on~

All the primals suck number wise but stuff like Milifina and namano(who is carried around like a parrot ffs) get high numbers

Decided to just go around and beat 30 npcs to get the squall card despite only having 22 cards. I had to get lucky in some card games but I just need to beat the twin adder person to get my 30.

I can definitely take Dark Knight and Astrologian to max level but I can't say the same for Machinist due to those DPS queue times. Having said that I have various DPS classes in the mid 30s (PLD and WHM at 50) so we'll see.

Good point. Regardless I'm excited for whatever Yoshida has to say on Friday.

New to the game, just started playing a few days ago and I've picked a terrible server haha...

Considering moving to a decent popular server when I've got to grips with the game. I'm guessing Ultros is one since Neogaf FC is on there?

Ultros is a lower pop server these days but there is usually plenty of people around (including plenty of GAF folk).

What's the chance that we get a class in the future that allows you to tame wild animals like the WoW Hunter?

That's the biggest thing I miss about WoW vs. FFXIV

YESSSSSS FINALLY, got my T10 clear, been after a Final Coil turn clear since shortly after they unlocked it...;_;

After coming back to this since playing around the re-launch, I still for the life of me can't get into the game. It just feels like playing in molasses and I can't get out of that mindset. It may be due to playing Conjurer but I've tried other classes and it is just the same feeling. I'm not sure if its the combat being slow that puts me off this game, or the general questing flow is horrendously bad but I just can't do it.

I really want to like this game but sadly I don't think it is for me. I guess Guild Wars 2 has really spoiled me on the aspect of fast-paced combat that has a lot more player interaction, something XIV just doesn't want to give me.

I started playing and either I'm dumb as shit or the game glitched or something.

I need to take orders of 4 people in a coffee and I can't find the fourth customer for the life of me.

EDIT: I think I'm not alone because there's another guy going in circles...

Alright so I just completed Syrcus Tower for the first time (took a long break from the game) and see I already meet the level requirement for World of Darkness (I'm 94). Should I jump in or am I going to get yelled at for not having enough dps?

Really enjoying FF14 but the feeling of barely understanding anything outside of "go do the quests that look important" is strong right now lol.

Yeah, I'm really hoping we get something like that.

Also, how are flying mounts supposed to work? Will they be restricted to zones, or will it be more like WoW where you can fly pretty much everywhere?
