I have had the game since the PS3 launch, and I still haven't got my passport to travel around. And I haven't tried any of the expansions, I haven't completed the story mode, I haven't tried any of the mini games etc. There'll be so much to explore! I just have to get used to the PC controls first, and I'm doing some practice against lower leveled monsters.

Oh yeah, that's what I meant. I can't wait to try out Chocobo races and Triple Triad. But I'm mostly excited to see how the story turns out.

I also just found a non-Essentials version of Crisis Core and FF Tactics: War of the Lions for PSP. But A Realm Reborn will get my time in the foreseeable future.

Went ahead and created a sac pull party for DD because I said fuck it and was tired of not getting anything. In the almost 4 hours I had, I had 3 members get get their atma drop.

I got nothing. I'm like legitimately considering bowing out of the zodiac questline. I have to be in the upper 30s of runs on that dungeon alone now. Being on the shitty end of the bell curve is depressing. Not going to bother updating on this anymore here either, I feel like a broken record.

Demon Wall and Tonberry can be obtained from normal mode runs that are much faster.

I've been meaning to get back to playing for a while now and with the free week I'm out of excuses! Can't wait, been about 12 months since my sub. Just debating if I want to make a new guy or pick up my old one and try to figure out where I left off (was only level 30-35ish on my highest class, I didn't have a ton of time and kind of leveled everything to 15-20 to get a feel for it) ... Leaning towards starting again.

Did you set up secondary authentication unintentionally? Because if you did, and you didn't set up the Security Key generator before-hand, it'd prevent you from logging in and create that sort of situation.

It sounds to me like you need to set up a One Time Password. The game has a tendency to get paranoid when you connect from a new location (or something it thinks is a new location, like if your IP changes.) It goes into super secure mode when it thinks access looks fishy.

Set up the One Time Password thing with a phone app and it'll stop doing that.

No, play against the npcs over there and try to get some of your cards. There are other npcs all over eorzea to play against as well, the each have a pool of cards that will randomly drop when you win a match.

Buying packs isn't too cost-effective

Before you accumulate points, you can buy out a lot of bronze packs. They're like 520. You buy w/ gil to 500, then beat the king or whatever once and cash em in, buy a pack, repeat. The rest aren't really worth it.

It's very easy to join the guild and you don't have to jump through any special loops.

It's put me at number 2 in the hate list during Titan almost every time, so I suppose I'm doing something right. Really wish I could parse though. I have no idea if I'm doing a good job at the moment :/

I have no idea whats a good AoE rotation at the moment as I haven't done any endgame dungeons yet.

I'm thinking:

I was under the same impression as well. I've just logged in for the free login event in Masamune, and cities are so deserted. Then I remembered about GS, and went there to found that the place is totally packed with people.
