You can desynth the new wedding gear into Fieldcraft 3. And they are bought in Uldah.

:) Means I have to level wvr desynth.

Go with LTW if you're just after the cheap FC3. Only 6k for the wedding boots compared to 18k for the wvr stuff. Act fast as FC3s are crashing, who knows how long till they stabilize(or where they will stabilize - I'm betting 50-70k range).

It's more that I'll need them that I want profit ( but I also want want profit).

Workin' as intended
Yup.

What i tried to say is, do you have a different tactic for that or do you swap as well?.
Swap, unless you hallowed or holmgang it you don't have much choice, and that would only work once. Maybe when people get a lot more geared a melee dps could try and tank one. (Actually with SS/Ald they may could do it now, but that's a lot of work)

Maintenance came at a bad time. ;-; Ah well, today we'll likely clear T10.
Emergency patch introduced new bug that makes t10 drop t9 gear. No escape from the allagan library.

Does the OT getting vulnerability during T10 mean it's time for a tank swap?

The two tanks in my group are saying there isn't enough time to swap before the charge but I dunno.

Spoilers, yo.

Yeah, it's a must. The OT will get one shot if he tries to tank the charge and without the OT whoever is first in line will die instead. There is plenty of time to tank swap, tell your MT/OT to be ready for it, you need to be moving/switching as soon as the vul debuff hits. As MT I also stop attacking right before a vul round that includes charge so that if OT does get hit he doesn't have to worry about fighting for aggro (he will not have enough time to do more than a lob/tomahawk probably before having to move away to reposition boss, so a mistimed combo move could get your party cleaved)

Is there a good macro guide out there? Or can someone explain it?

I want to macro certain things to happen upon attacks (assassinate with all main attacks would be nice among other things I want to try.)
But I don't understand how to use a macro to do certain attacks.
Additionally is there a way to still show the picture of the attack that you are doing instead of the generic sword thing?

Idk if that makes sense but hopefully someone can help XD

I think this one isn't that bad for begining. It shows a few BRD examples that would translate for nin. Also for icon I think it's /macroicon <nameofaction> in the first line.

The other option is
MT rotates to eat the charge and pops Tempered / Holmgang so they don't move and then go back to tanking. Probably simpler to just swap it like we were doing, though
.

Maintenance and the like one lockout of random crashes and super lag ;__;

I crafted the 4* ilvl 110 Bard Body HQ Kirimu Coat... listed it for 20 million and it sold within the hour!!!!

That's crazy. People with that kind of money to spend should be able to craft that themselves.

Also, send me one to my moogle box.

Damn, people throwing down gil in this patch like its on fire.

It's really insane! I've been crafting around the clock! Finished Foragers set... this looks so slick! I glamored it to all my Crafting classes! If anyone needs 4* crafts hit me up in my nook at the Gridinia Market Board :)

Has anyone had an issue where FFXIV doesnt listen to your inputs? This was actually a problem I've had since vanilla and the beta, but I thought that it would go away. It's still there and it's annoying as hell. Half the time when I click on something the game doesnt register it at all, whether it be me trying to activate an ability, target an NPC/creature or access a menu item. Anyone know what the problem could be? I've had this issue on multiple computers that I've played FFXIV on over the years too, so I feel like this cant be on my end.

Nope, what exactly do you play on?

Play primarily on my laptop, but also on my desktop from time to time. I've had the issue on both. Sometimes it will register my input the first time, sometimes it takes 5 attempts. It's really random.

using the same mouse for both? Maybe try a different one.

Haha! The min requirement to 4* craft is 451 Craftsmanship, you need the Supra + Max Melded everything and at least +15 Craftsmanship on the new Artisan Off-hand tool. The entrance fee is very steep this time around!

Yeah, I can't get into the crafting game. I think I'll get a bunch (all) leveled to 50 by the time of the expac and hope that the level cap increase will even the playing field again.

The requirements on the new crafting are insane, yes.
I guess I'll just end up collecting mats then asking someone to craft me an NQ 4-star set.
Allagan mats are naturally the hardest part.

Also, I dread zoning into Ultros in roulette because people can't mechanics for shit.

Finished the main story last night, Shiva was pretty cool. Snowcloak was nice
I like where we end so far in the story, doing Hilde now. dat ultros

Also that savage arc sold immediately for damn near a mil, I need to make more stupid housing goods while the gettin's good.

Thanks for the FC invite. Trying to get back into the swing of this game after a nearly a year off.

This new patch is a great reason to level my tank up due to the DPS influx.

square pies = communism
So with the 4* crafted items, does it take a significant change of gear to do it, or is it pretty much 3* setup with the GC buff?

Frontlines gives like 20 poetics now too for those not aware.
Nice reward.

Speaking of, these new PVP weapons have some badass sfx, despite being recolors. High Allagan should've looked like that.
This patch,. there's amazing Shiva's Cane, amazing Swanliege cane, amazing Ironworks TRON Cane and... Dreadwyrm snotstick. Why.

So, I've been trying to level up my GSM, and the guides everywhere say that I should use those leves with multiple turn ins, and only deliver HQ itens. The problem is that I can't consistently craft HQ stuff. What am I doing wrong? I use HQ materiais and the improvement skill, but my durability reaches 0 and I don't have enough CP.

Wait did someone clear 13?

I really should do that, I just need to gather some courage. Especially with tanking.

Bruh tanking dungeons is like the easiest shit in the world in this game.
You can do it,

PLD/GLD = FLASH FLASH FLASH
WAR/MRD= OVERPOWER EVERYTHING

Then 123 123 123 123 123 regardless of job
Start tanking, realize it's easymode, collect delicious poetics, items, and commendations all day in queue times that are sub 30s

Multiple turn-ins used to be the way to do it, but now they are shit. For the most bang for your leve buck, use the courier missions. You'll get better at HQ'ing once you get more crossskills and better equipment. It will still be harder to HQ things at your level though. There is always the alternative of getting someone else that is 50 to craft them for you.

Low level HQing is hard, specially if you don't have the best cross class skills.

Got my ROG to 10 and was like eh~
FATEs right now are swarms nins though, it's amazing to watch

I had a friend buy me the mats and I just HQ'd things for him.
If you have FC friends, it's worth asking for the low levels.

Personally I find it a little crazy if there actually is a significant story piece locked away behind coil. It's a cool payoff, but I mean realistically how many people will see it naturally ingame? Wonder if it affects the larger story plot.

I really want to see it now!

I can guess where the story is going and I think it has very far reaching ramifications but yeah they'd need to find a way to get that story out to the regular players. Who knows.

After they're all opened up and echo'd, it's only a matter of time before people out gear it, right? I haven't done nearly any of the coil, but it seems like a lot of the story is a direct continuation of 1.0 events— and the people you might typically see running it are legacy players who were/are fit to take on that end game content. Whereas the current main story is dealing with entirely different, new events. Doesn't seem too crazy to me but, again, I haven't done enough of it to know.
