Final Fantasy XIV |OT6| Casino Royale

Problem is we're gonna have all these fate ninja who have no idea how to play the class with a real party because they never step foot into a dungeon with it

This game has a habit of not even giving you the last 1-2 skills in your skill set until after you've completed your final Level 50 Job Quest, you don't even actually get to play your class with all your skills until you're capped and all quests are finished. In general the excuse against FATEs that people don't learn how to play is completely invalid in this game, you don't learn shit about how to play in this game's leveling dungeons anyways.

Limsa near the Fisherman's Guild.
Also how many of you Narutos are gonna stay believing it after you're at 50?
I get the feeling most of the people leveling NIN in my LS and FC are pretty sick of it now that they're close to 50.

I BELIEVE

Is there a spreadsheet of what final coil stuff drops where yet?

I know it's probably too sparse for me to discern where the tank stuff drops just yet, but I'm curious.

Not entirely invalid. You at least learn segments of your rotation in dungeons as you level up, and soloing fates as a DRG or Monk doesn't really give you a lot of opportunities to practice your positionals.

I would agree that it's the endgame where you REALLY start learning your class, but, story dungeons at least give people some semblance of a foundation to build upon.

No one cares about how well you learned your class in XIV pre 50, some of the most vital skills don't even hit till then. Within a single instance you can pick up 90% of the basics and feel out the nuances afterwards anyway. I don't buy the FATEgrind leads to bad player bullshit people hawk. Everyone is shit in PUG groups anyway so whatever.

Couldn't find a final coil loot table on lodestone. Found the incomplete spreadsheet though.

.... Tank drop locations look, surprisingly similar to where they dropped in second Coil. I know it's a bit premature to say anything conclusively, but it's Looking a little more likely that they'll putts tank chest in the final turn again. :p

I'm not sure the lodestone has been updated yet, usually it comes a few days after the patch.

The ring drops in the first turn as opposed to the last this time though (for fending). I only know this because Collision's group let the item rot somehow on their kill :<

Forgot to post about this leve a few days ago regarding the 20-30 EXP grind:

Costa Del Sol - Out to Sea Repeat indefinitely. All you do is grab 5 bottles. Sprint when you see the air elemental.

When Out To Sea is unavailable, do the leve where you have to /soothe Colibri. You can probably get away with max difficulty in your 20s with a healer Chocobo and patience on pulls.

I would disagree since most jobs, especially DPS jobs, are all about learning your rotation/priority system. While dungeons are repetitive, they give you a lot of chances to learn a nice, fluid combo that works with the skills you have. Early dungeons? Not so much. Mid-late dungeons? I'd say so. Then again, this is up to the player in dungeons. If you want to learn to maximize your rotation to speed up the process, you can. If you wanna go through the motions and get through it, sure. In fates? You need to go through the motion or spam aoe just to get hate/damage and get max credit.

I guess I would argue that you have a better opportunity to learn your class by playing dungeons. The repeat pulls give you more and more chances to see how best to utilize your skillset. Problem is most people see them as chores instead of learning opportunities. Endgame dungeons don't have enough of that learning and reward system to justify repeat playthroughs, which is the biggest downfall of the level 50 dungeons. You literally only do them to get tomes to get gear, which is a pain and, ultimately, not rewarding enough for the time put in.

SEX cleared. I still feel that I don't particularly understand how to deal with the exorbitant amount of damage she dishes out. She hits Selene harder than Nael does, that is just insane.
Edit: And Boreas on the second clear, oh my god.

Not even EX, on Hardmode the ice claw thing wipes anyone who isn't the tank.
EX mode bow attack gives me nael flashbacks, she hits like a fucking tank

I have a wife now though so it shouldn't consume my life lol.

Should try finding a tank or healer to group with you before entering the queue.

The few times I queued today resulted in groups found pretty much as soon as I hit the button (leveling Marauder).

Shame you cant queue with others for LLDR so this doesnt help unless you want to dungeon spam instead of fate spam.

My tank friend and his healer girlfriend are in the middle of moving so I'm SOL. Also I watched a guy try to party finder a tank or healer for Tam Tara normal around the same time I queued up for Copperbell DF and I won.

Finished the 2.4 story. Although it drags a little sometimes, I love the whole political aspect. Loved the ending.

Uh...
that cutscene when Iceheart leaves... is Urianger possesed or is that someone else? lol Makes the conversation in the Rising Stones later a little weird.
