I understand when hubs and uplink connections get flooded to cause these kind of issues.
I understand when you need to keep operations slim due to your parent company dictating lower overhead for greater profit margins.
What I don't understand and don't appreciate is the lack of communication by the NA department. They should be communicating (via social media or in-game / lobby communications) the issue they suspect and an expected timeframe. And they should communicate it in a personal manner. I know I personally would be a lot more understanding and forgiving then.
My feeling is, and this will sound condescending, but I think that a lot of the NA employees are people with little business experience and took a job for their video game passion. (i.e. we can hire "video game nerds" for cheap than industry professionals). They most likely haven't worked at another SaaS provider and don't know how to properly communicate to their customers. This seems common in the video game industry

We've had 5hrs of Coil planned interrupted by these DC's. We were at 10% on T10 when everyone started DC'ing. It's been a week of no or interrupted raiding due to this. There's been a group that lost T12 gear due to these dc's.
Gotta admit that I'm getting a bit tired of this. Yeah I know, it's not SE's servers themselves, but the routing service responsible for much of the incoming traffic to Montreal dropping packet info. Regardless, it's annoying.
I know it isn't practical, but I wish they would relocate the server to some other location with a more stable infrastructure. I repeat, i, "KNOW," this isn't practical at the moment.

Hmmm maybe I will buy gloves this week. Was planning to alternate purchases between WHM and BLM but maybe gearing out WHM first will be a better idea.

People are really mad at the ScoB nerfs.
Aw thats messed up.. we did T11 yesterday and our healer got 90k'd at the last 2% but we made it tho.
Finally cleared T5 with my wife yesterday. After 2 weeks of failure, I asked for people that knew what to do on party finder.
First group, one of the healers didn't know what to do with conflags and fireballs...
After kicking him, we got another group. One member got hit by EVERY divebomb, and we wiped to twisters every time (3 meelee dps that kept crossing paths).
Some people left, I put on PF again, restricting DPS to ranged (we already had one excellent DRG with us). We got a party with 4 members that already cleared it and 4 with exp to twisters. We beat it in our first try. No one died, no Divebombs, no Twisters, it was beautiful.
The difference a decent group can make... Now she can join me on SCoB
And I managed to join a terrible group for T6 yesterday. People insisted on doing Super Slug... We gave up after 30 minutes.

Go to sleep and come back to see the OF filled with white knights prancing around saying that Square is perfect since it was only a DDoS attack. It's like none of them care to look at just how many server issues have happened in the last year when someone keeps reposting the 88+ issues that have happened.
I'd believe them if they said that's what the problem was Monday since that was right at primetime. But them wanting us to believe that was the cause at midnight on a Tuesday? What's the point of DDoSing if at least half the reason you do it has already logged for bed? "I made only 30% of nerds angry when if I did this several hours earlier, I could have made 100%, I win", you sure do there buddy.

Might not be an attack originating from somebody in North America, you know. The same servers house the European data center at the moment.
Besides that, why expect rationality in a case like this?

You have to trade the antique armor items to the Diamond Forge NPC in Mor Dhona for them. The antique items drop in all the new dungeons.
The three new dungeons drop antique boots/pants/helms/bla that can be traded in for a myth piece for that slot. Accessories are direct drops.
I don't think the shoes match with anything. I also gotta use visual indicators to show what accuracy set I have on. No pants vs pants is a 41 accuracy difference. I have a different gear set for each final coil turn now.
Thx, I hope it won't take too long to get all the pieces. It's a shame I didn't start the game earlier since apparently you could get one piece of Myth gear for 20-40 Allied Seals in 2.3?
What benefit does it serve SE to lie about being DDoS'd? Why do you even care so much? For that matter, why even read the OF? Expecting people posting there to be rational is just asking to be disappointed.

The range for European times would also be early morning to about 10 or so, when quite a few of them aren't even on. I expect rationality because they do this shit for fun and to see how many people they can screw over, the games not nearly as fun if it's not played at it's peak. It doesn't matter where these people live, you can be sure they plan this out ahead of time and do it when they can screw the most amount of people.
Because I play this game just like everyone else and am tired of seeing it go down at least once a week when I am playing it. This shit has happened far too much for the cause to only be random DDoS attacks. What I expect them to do is suck it up and stop cheaping out on a known provider that sucks, not keep blaming all their server issues on a ghost that only comes around some of the time to scare people for a few minutes at a time.
Pelligri and me are on the same wavelength. SE needs to get their shit straight, this can't be healthy for the universe.

It will absolutely take you an insanely long time because tokens share the loot tables with myth accessories and myth mats and even in the case they do drop you'll have to compete with 3 people on your party that can all need on it just as well as you can. Loot table between the dungeons is identical. I believe the first boss drops gloves and boots, second boss drops pants and head and the last boss drops the body. Something like that.
Yes, 2.3 had it much easier, you could obtain the full armor set in an hour.
