Yeah, I should just rack up a ton of XP and cash out at a hotel for that 3X multiplier and discounted rate. Any place early on to farm for XP?
I only got that sword as DLC? Where is the DLC located?

Gaf need help. Got a weapon upgrade quest with cid and all 4 weapon quests lead to a lighthouse that I can't intersect with. Have gone through 3 chapters and nothing has changed.
So something ended up getting spoiled for me, could someone give me a brief answer on rather knowing this has ruined the story for me or not, cause I certainly feel like it has. I really hate the internet sometimes. Waited 10 years for this game.

Well, completed the game, some thoughts:
The story is a bit of a disjointed mess but despite that, I've enjoyed it though it won't rank among my top 5 FF stories, I enjoyed it.
The four main characters are great and I've enjoyed the journey mostly thanks to them.
Music is the weakest part of the game, but there are some good tracks.
The world is nice but I wish (chapter 9 - 13 spoiler?):
. Still I've enjoyed the world.
Fuck chapter 13.
I also wish that summons would either be nerfed and allowed to be used at any time or have more reliable ways to summon them rather than wait and pray lol.
While the game as a whole won't rank among my top 5 FFs, I have really enjoyed the journey. I just wish the story was more coherent. It feels like the story could have been really good, but with the way it's structured and told I would just call the story 'alright' at best. Still the characters really help it to me. I also really liked the english voice actors of the four more than I anticipated I would based on the demo and pre-release stuff.
On that note, chapter 8 spoilers:
And just one more for good measure: FUCK chapter 13.

Yeah I agree. Fortunately I played like 60 hours without any DLC whatsoever so I don't feel like it's cheapened the experience for me, personally. But for brand new players jumping in? Definitely.

It's nothing bad, he just has a feminine appearance & his voice doesn't suit him. I would imagine his voice to be closer to a mix of Ignis & Prompto - as his Japanese voice is.

Again got hit by the camera bug. Had to talk to one of those hunter/diner dudes to fix the camera. I'm enjoying the game so I hope these annoying bugs don't appear frequently.

It sounds like you're just really picky with VA, which is fine, but probably not a great idea to blame the quality of the VA or writing in that case.

Prompto really is the best voice acted character. He just sounds so natural, like he's having an actual conversation. And he's actually my favorite character so far. It helps that his photography is one of the best things about the game.
I immediately recognized Iris as Estelle from ToV and Miki from SO5. I like that actress but she does kinda sound the same in every game she's in.

I have to say, one cool thing about XV that just hit me is that very few games give the player one car that he sticks with throughout the whole game instead of just hijacking every car that passes by. It's kind of cool.
The dungeons are absolutely fantastic in this game. Actually fun dungeons in a JRPG you want to explore?! Unbelievable. Will be difficult going back to the lower budget ones after this.
