I was rereading Verendus's "impressions" posts just for kicks and I decided to round up all of the things he was incorrect about after all. So, as was requested:
This is not true. The fantasy/reality blend is pretty consistent throughout the game. (The strangest parts are actually within dungeons in the first half.)
Also not true. There's no experimenting necessary -- the game tells you exactly what each spell will do before you craft it. None of them are useless. And there aren't actually a lot of combinations.
This isn't really how the game works. Noctis is always a one-man army. You can't focus on a "slow and methodical style."
Also not how the game works. You don't have to plan ahead - you can switch gear mid-combat. And there are no "more damaging weapons" to abuse. The powerful Lucis weapons all drain your HP, so they come at a cost.
This is also false. Maybe spoilery?Summons are almost never used in the game.
Very much not true. There are tons of cutscenes in the game.
This is all just nonsense. Balee that.
HUH?Naughty Dog? im playing Uncharted 4 and the game is mostly cutscenes, with the bare minimun to expand the "lore" im honeslty shocked by that comparison
