Masamune DLC code is working but I'm not sure where to find it in-game. Anyone know?

Pretty sure it's going to be garbage compared to my current gear anyway (level 58 lol) but I just want to have it.

Gotta reiterate what others stated that finishing the game in 20 hours is really pushing just the story only. I'm chapter 3, 16 hours in. Take that as you will.

Pros are:

Great world to explore
Addicting combat/flashy
Great bro characters/comradery
Nice world building via npc, radio chatter, etc
Dungeons
Chohobos usage

Cons:

Repetition in side quests (though combat is so good, I don't mind)
Car use is limited but makes sense as it would undermine the chocobos use imo.
Pacing is a bit slow and all over the place

My copy still hasn't shipped... (Pre-ordered for a nice discount).
I could buy a copy tomorrow then return my mailed copy with that receipt, but then I tell myself if it doesn't arrive tomorrow, I've waited 10 years, surely I can wait one more day...

Is HDR on something to recommend on OG PS4? I have a TV for it, but will it hit the performance hard?

Just finished it,

really really amazing ending, loved the last 3 chapters they felt like another game, the logo now makes sense and it is amazing.

Now I'm wearing the new kickass outfits and flying around with my car.

I never pre-order physical games, but I just did for this over the weekend at best buy. Looks like my copy is ready for pick up now too. Just a few more hours to get out of work

Got my copy today. Haven't reached the same point I did during the demo but I'm taking my time and discovering lots of new things now that I understand the text and what is being said. So far fun gameplay, great graphics, music is god tier until now and Im really liking the character interactions.

Also, Digital Foundry was right. HDR in this game looks AMAZING. It's the first time where I'm really seeing a night and day difference between having it enabled or disabled.... Like to the points where I think it makes a much bigger difference than the graphical upgrade on pro (of course on pro you have HDR AND the upgrade).
Colors more vibrant and brighter without being oversaturated. Also during the evening and specially at sunset the world gains an amazing looking "warm" tint which looks fantastic (kinda hard to exemplify with how hard it is to show HDR on non HDR scenes).


One issue though... Screenshots with HDR are broken right now, at least on my console.
They look ridiculously oversaturated, it looks like someone set the brightness to 130%. Bright areas look white in screenshot.
It's not a case of "well you can't capture HDR on screenshots ". I've tried it with lots of other games and screenshots allways look fine... Except here.

Playing on OG Ps4 with HDR enabled.
I'm super early on so no big fights yet but so far framersre feels smooth. Not noticing any drops.

And as mentioned above, HDR is really worth it. Makes a massive difference.

HQ looks so good. If people are seeing frame pacing, it is what it is. I just don't notice. Fucking love this game even though you're just sort of thrown out into the world with small details as to why.

After 30 hours the game is still very very fun. Gameplay and everything is good but I am afraid that I am too fast. I am abusing farming EXP and multiplying huge amounts of EXP so now I am way overleveled and I was easily able to do mob hunts which you would do later I guess and other things. Story is good if you take everything in (Brotherhood, Kingsglaive and the short conversitions here and there come together nicely). Soundtrack is amazing.

Just afraid that I don't have enough time to play and I am always sad when I put the controler down. :(

Also the new camera with the new patch from behind is just...bad. There is also no option to change it back and it really takes a bit fun out of my experience.

Yes. Begining, bits here and there for a few seconds and the end.

You can go in and out of wait mode at will during a fight yes...? for the grind easy mobs you stay active,thougher fights you start active and use wait during the fight to slow things down and all,switch back to active etc etc...?

C'mon tomorrow ;)

I am also in the boat that Amazon has charged my card and has said my order is being prepared since Friday. It still has not shipped, but still says it is due tomorrow by 8 PM.

I have faith, I've had things ship late in the evening and still arrive, but my hope is waning.

Fuck I'm so mad at Amazon right now, preordered this months ago it was listed to ship out on Friday then they changed to to shipping today and now it hasn't shipped today either, yet my friend preordered just a couple weeks ago and hers is already her (also via Amazon Prime) this is the third time now they've done this to me.... All I want is to play some Final Fantasy dammit!

Now I'm stuck with FF XV logo that's locked. It redirects me to the store where it won't show a price 'cause I already 'bought' it

Quit scaring me. lol, if it doesn't ship out pretty soon tonight, we are screwed I think.
