Seriously, I'm on chapter 2 and just read a bunch of untagged spoilers. Fucking annoying. Can you guys start using spoiler tags again? What the hell are you guys thinking?

In the Elemancy menu, there's the 4 elements, the craft button is underneath them. That's a huge disappointment. So they didn't show the event in the game in more detail so they can sell us the movie to see it first. Why SE, when you hurt the impact of the damn story? It makes sense now why the main gripe so far with the game is the way it is.
I didn't see a craft button anywhere, but I will look.
Why does wait mode just randomly happen?
Sure you weren't looking at them haha.
Yeah I don't get all the hate on Cindy. Yeah sure she is overly sexualized. So what? This is a game where the main cast are attractive males, and Prompto is always taking pictures of Gladdy's ass.
Is it ok to leave now?
I was level 40 something for that area and yeah, some of those fights are really challenging.I'm at the Chestholm Channels and I'm getting my ass handled to myself but I manage to survive every fight. I've been running in Circles for half an hour now.
Keep playing. So I'm at theof the first chapter where they tell you that you'll be gone for a while and won't be able to come back till much later.boat/ferry part
I'm only level 10 and have only done the level 12 quests and below.
Is it ok to leave now?
I hated XIII but nothing in XIII was this bad.Homage to a certain mainline FF?
Because she's a bizarro monster-human with an impossibly tiny waist and ridiculous looking pods instead of breasts. Every time I see her I expect one of the cast to shout "Daemon!" and start attacking her.
it is ok
Keep playing.
So I'm not the only one that's noticedSure you weren't looking at them haha.

Not sure what to think about this game yet.
First impressions are it doesn't look great and runs even worse, the combat hasn't clicked with me yet (would prefer turn based) and the characters are annoying.
No. you won't get there for a while so Galdin is still your best betIs that 3x exp hotel in chapter 3?

When Gladio puts on ass-tight short-shorts and leans over the Regalia to soap it down, then we can start using the "Everyone is sexualized!" argument. Until then, it simply isn't true.
Here's to hoping for swimsuit costume DLC, though the difference between Serah and Noel's DLC costumes makes me think that we probably never will.
Well, from a practical standpoint, story missions make you more powerful (coming from the perspective of someone who is only in chapter 2), side missions make you more money and level you up. Other than that, it's basically an open-world game, so just do whatever you want I never did complete the main story in Skyrim, but I had a lot of fun with what I did do.Is there a reason to do story vs side missions?
I understand you could do them after the main game. I'm just curious if they're other reasons.
GAF your so dramatic. Just cleared Chapter 13, yeah it was long and slow, but I fail to see what the deal was beyond that. Defending yourself is easy especially after.you find the king's royal arm
lol you guys had me so worried, for nothing.
The Dog the bounty hunter setting is starting to drag a bit now.. Desert and truck stops is just nowhere near as memorable as the opening parts of previous games... Midgar, Alexandria, Zanarkand/Besaid, Balamb....
"Hey Noctis, any preference on who I should photograph more?"
"Yes, I'd like to see more of myself"
"Sure thing"
*just takes a bunch of selfies anyway*
All of Cindy's sidequests from what I've heardSo how can I make my car become an airship? It's a sidequest?

Am I doing this right? I'm level 17 on chapter 2, just reached the part with the chocobos. About 13 hours put into the game. All the side quests and exploring have taken precedence over the main quests.
Finish the game and then clear the three imperial bases.
It's both, I think. You get the materials by clearing the bases, but you need to do all Cindy's quests for her to do the upgradeSo it's not the Cindy's sidequests? Will do that then. Thanks.

Question. How the fuck do you turn in the quests to Cid?
You have to wait for his slow ass to finish working on them.. which has been like six days for me so far lol.Question. How the fuck do you turn in the quests to Cid?

Do any 3 hunts/sidequests and then sleep. You have to wait for his slow ass to finish working on them.. which has been like six days for me so far lol.

Loving the game so far. My only issue so far is the lack of cutscenes and story in general. I'm on chapter 8 and I feel like I've seen less than 30 minutes worth of actual cutscenes. That's super disappointing to me since that's a huge reason why I love the FF games. Will it atleast be a lot more cutscene heavy in the later half?
Decided to advance the story a bit yesterday, so I finished up Chapter 3 and went right through chapter 4 next. A bit under 19 hours and around level 31 IIRC. Still enjoying the game a ton, though starting to fatigue on traversal and side quests at tad. Getting Chocobo's helped the former though.
