The bottom circle on the crafting screen lets you add an item to your spell. Some items add multiple charges, or poisons the enemy, or makes it so that you cast the spell more than once per charge (Dual-, Tri-, Quad-, Quintcast).
I played through the game yesterday and remember one shop selling extra good weapons for like 5000 gil a piece...now that I'm back in the world I don't remember where that shop was or how I can access it @_@ Anyone any ideas?
Just started the game and made it to the point where a character is about to bring me to what I presume is the next area. What's the purpose of "hoarding EXP?" Is it so you can find a resting spot with a higher multiplier? There's a lot of systems to this game that'll take a while for me to get used to, haha.
The battle camera is doing its best effort to ruin what would otherwise be a really good game for me. It's like, I know there 7 enemies around me somewhere but all I see on my monitor is bushes and trees.
I live in NYC but I'm currently on vacation visiting my family at home. I want to get FFXV and play it on my brother's ps4 while I'm here. My plan was to sign in to my account and upload my save data to the online storage so that I can transfer it to my ps4 when I get back.
However, we did a test run with other games that we both have to see if I can download my saved data from online storage but we keep getting the error message "application for that saved data is not installed". For example, we both have digital versions of Sleeping Dogs and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 but for both games I get that error message..even though the games are installed.
I did some online searching and some other people had similar problems and the best answers I could find is that apparently the saves are region locked. My brother has a UK ps4 while mine is American.
If I buy an American disc and play it on his ps4. Theoretically when I go back to download the saved data on my american ps4 then it shouldn't give me the same problem correct? Because it is an American disc so there should be no region locking of the save data.
Unless the region locking is tied to the system and not the game and in that case there's no hope lol
Yes. I just get a new game file. In other words, the system tells me that there is no saved data found when I open up those games on my profile. Again, if I try downloading the saved data from my online storage I get the error message "application is not installed".
For those who finished the game already, what level where you at the end?
I'm like on chapter 7 and level 40 already, lol. I feel like by the end i'm going to be way over leveled, but I don't want to rush through the game.
Boss fights are all about how often I can spam potions and elixirs because my dumbass AI teammates walk into every AoE the boss does. I feel like I'd have more fun if I were to let them die and go solo :/
Damn, this game just got ridiculously sad right now. Everything.... everyone is in pain. That stab that Ardyn gave Luna... Jesus christ. Really.... didn't expect that. The Leviathan fight was damn great, imo. I sure as hell wasn't expecting to kill it without being powered up.
Btw,
The city of Altissia
was said to be incredibly huge. Did I miss any exploration bits?
Kind of disappointed that you don't need to do post-game stuff for all trophies/achievements, especially since post game contet is pretty good in XV, some new quests, locations and buffed up enemies.
Really wish they would have chapter locked these quests instead of level locked. Find it dumb to get quests and have it such a filled log for stuff you can't do until way later. Would also help with the overleveling bit as well
For those who have beaten the game or played a ton so far, what's the best place to gain experience? I've found a couple of spots where I used to the monster whistle for a few hours but I wanted to know if there was a really, really good spot.

Depends on the boss fight, but i'm like 45 hours in and I am just starting to realize a lot of deadly aoe moves can be interrupted by either using TP abilities or attacking specific parts of the boss.

Ive left levelling all the skills so I have that to do while clearing all the post game stuff. It is unusual not to have some trophies attached to epic goals or insane fights.
Loving the world in this game. At first I was meh on Leide and didn't think it was fantastical enough, but the more I play the more unique I find the real world aesthetic but with just enough shades of fantasy to make it feel just a bit off.
Without any spoilers when does your car turn into an airship? I want to do all the sidequest in the game but, it would be easier it seems with that available. Hope it's not post game. Im on chapter 5 btw.

You know, the dungeons were amazing, new hunt mobs were pretty damn great and brought out the best of the combat (party of 4 vs 1 medium sized enemy) but
Adamantoise was... kind of a janky let-down. I mean yeah, I got into the loop of warpstriking him in the eye for 9999 but prior to that it was a mess of 'i dunno what i'm doing lol' with the camera clipping him half the time
It really could have been the epitome of the best postgame/endgame a non-MMO Final Fantasy ever had, but I feel kinda disappointed.

Other open world titles really need to take note from XV when it comes to dungeons and monster design. It's the best i've seen. Kind of shocked I said that.
There NEEDS to be depth beneath the surface. This is something Xenoblade X fails at miserably despite being pretty.
I have finished the game so my next question can be answered in spoilers but without revealing the content per se.
Are there other places in Lucis map that you get access post game? There are lots of dark places that i can see have some name in them towards the edges of the map. Are these places available?
