Prepare for maximum boredom.
Type C controls are a fucking game changer.
I tried to switch near the end but I was just too muscle memorie'd on A and kept getting my buttons wrong
I got the introduction to the cup noodle quest. Fucking amazing, that's what it is.
Got two questions:
- Do Hunts count towards the sidequest-trophies?
- I am at chapter 7 now. Just did the thing in
When do I get new clothes? Kinda hoped it would be more frequent but so far it was nothing.the power plant.
what's the key differences?
I would probably level up quite a bit more before you take on Adamantoise. Like in most Final Fantasy's with him in it you better be prepared for a long drawn out battle so stock up on everything.About to fight this turtle guy at level 67. Any tips I should know beforehand?
Agreed.Type B is the best imo but anything besides A changes the feel of combat drastically.
Biggest key is it moved attack/defend to r2 and l2. Let's you dodge without actually having to move your finger off the attack button. It's so good.
I should try Type B tonight. I've been using Type C from the start.
I really hope they'll sell new costumes as DLC that comes with different stats.
Type B does this too. L1 for dodge/parry and Square for attack. It just feels RIGHT having the item menu on Triangle as well.Biggest key is it moved attack/defend to r2 and l2. Let's you dodge without actually having to move your finger off the attack button. It's so good.
Didn't even think of changing the control scheme tbh. Will do so tonight.
Type C controls are a fucking game changer.
Wish it would rain soon... So I can kill this damn frog.
No matter how comfortable you are with Type A, I guarantee that either of the alternatives is better. Being able to comfortably use both sticks while holding block and blocking without having to move your hand from the attack button is a godsend.I feel very comfortable with the default controls, and block and parry almost every single time. But I'm surely gonna give these other control schemes a go once I've completed the story.
Like some other people said, it's just too longChapter 13 was nowhere near as bad as I was led to believe.
About the clothes, I read someone earlier mention not a single article of clothing is changed or added except what you have in your gear.
Now watch as people pay $$ for it.
Kinda off topic but I have yet to drop a penny on any DLC except for smash brothers on ds for Cloud. Worth it.

I used A the entire game and I loved it. I looked at B and C, but couldn't see how I would like those any more.Yep

It's better to move the camera if you attack with R2 and not OI used A the entire game and I loved it. I looked at B and C, but couldn't see how I would like those any more.
I guess I could give C a shot for post-game content and see how I like it, but I feel comfortable thinking I could get the Platinum on A no problem.

The definition of cringeworthy. It is so awful, they even talk like they are recording a commercial.
It sounds good. Although, I'm not sure how much I'll like using the shoulder buttons for attack and defend. I feel like I've gone too far using type A controls to switch now lol. Maybe try one of the others on a second playthrough.
Damn, Chapterhas both some really high highs and some really low lows.9
had me almost in tears, whileThat CGI sequencemade me literally screaming WHAT THE FUCK COME ON SQUARE ENIX, andIgnis going blindwas too soon,Luna's death. I don't know how the story goes from here toshe should have either received some more story exposition cutscenes, but they should have hadTenebrae.her travelling with the party for a while from Altissia to Tenebrae, to give the player some time to spend with her, to care about her, and only then kill her off. Because those couple of moments she had were legit good
Thefight was visually great and pretty meh gameplay-wise, but i always took those as a natural evolution of the PSS1/PS2 era CGI cutscenes, plus there is no pratical way to fight such giant creatures, so i guess this is fine.Leviathan
People mention the noodle thing but the Vivienne Westwood reference was even more bizarre.
