For Those Buying Final Fantasy XV: Which Version Are You Getting?

PS4 Version since I'm getting it for $35 (CAD) thanks to Amazon's 30% off E3 sale + pre order price guarantee stacking.
 
Considering I don't have a PS4 and it isn't coming to PC anytime soon I'll probably pick it up in a pro bundle. I do have an Xbox but I'm just gonna trade that in towards pro, its been a constant struggle lately and I'm over it.

Not sure. Was going to get the Deluxe Edition but now that already bought Kingsglaive it kind of seems pointless especially since I think the Amano art looks awful. Will probably just end up getting the regular edition.
 
Deluxe. Game + Kingsglaive + Awesome steelbook + Amazon discount.

I really, really, really like the Ultimate Collector's Edition but it's just too expensive.
 
The Best Buy exclusive that comes with the season pass and ridiculous beanie since it was $60 with GCU. With a gift card I had, it'll be $40.
 
Had the normal version ordered with amazon uk for years and was happy with the FFIX weapon bonus but now I'm living in a country where amazon doesn't operate and there's no alternative so I'm stuck with psn digital. Still undecided to go with regular or DLC.
 
I had the deluxe edition pre ordered but really disliked Kingslglaive, so I'll just be getting the standard PS4 version in a blue case.

If I like the music I might import the soundtrack later on!
 
Ultimate edition, but I'm really torn, I'd like to keep it but really need the money from selling it to pay for recent medical bills ($900 for ultrasound in the us? Flipping stupid).

So I'll probably just end up getting the regular version to play with some psn gift cards I have left over.

had ultimate collector's edition preordered, cancelled it though. too much money. it was my birthday a few days ago so i actually got a preorder of the PS4 deluxe edition paid off for me as a gift. i'm happy with that.

carbuncle surprise was a joke lol
 
Had ordered standard, deluxe, and UCE. Cancelled UCE a few months ago, don't really care about a statue. On the fence between deluxe and standard, the steelbook is very pretty but I don't care about the movie (will just watch on netflix some day) and DLC outfits tend to be thrown out after an hour of play.

So... is the steelbook worth an extra $24 to me or not, I guess. Still have 3 weeks to decide.
 
Getting Deluxe Edition but I actually cancelled my order from the SE store today and swapped it to GAME. Apparently the SE store is horribly unreliable, plus they seem to use Digital River who also seem highly unreliable. I've read too many stories of people waiting weeks and even months for an order.
 
I got a standard Xbox One copy pre-ordered but I keep going back and forth on whether or not to upgrade to the Deluxe version. If I have the extra change to spare near launch I may make the jump.

I have a pre-order for the Deluxe Edition, but I might downgrade. The Amano art is great, but paying 90€ for a steebook, the movie and some useless DLC feels kinda ridiculous.

That's how I'm feeling as well. I have the standard and deluxe edition pre-ordered from Amazon. $51 and $77 respectively after tax and discount.

I already watched Kingsglaive so is it worth the extra $25 for the steelbook, another copy of the movie and the DLC stuff? Starting to think that it's not...

This is why I downgraded from the deluxe. I went and saw Kingsglaive in theaters and wouldn't use the bluray. The real reason I did it is because you can get the regular edition and the season page for less than the deluxe edition and I feel like the season pass will provide more additional content than the deluxe version.

That's a good point. I'll just cancel my deluxe edition and stick with the regular day one edition now - thanks for giving me the push I needed!
 
I've adored Amano my whole life but I don't really feel the connection to this game to spend extra money on it. So, honestly, probably just the normal edition from Amazon.

I'll buy whatever ridiculous kit they release for Stormblood though. Final Fantasy needed Heavensward so damned badly, I absolutely feel like rewarding that.
