Well, the custom livery R8 is what everybody is offering as a pre-order bonus.

It's just some stores who have additional vehicles, as well.

See I only have £20 in the bank right now:lol so I worry about instant payments, I ordered it anyway.

So I gone from ordering the LE for £48, cancelling that, ordering the regular for £39.99 and now cancelling that for the LE at the same price at Blockbuster :lol

I would not have bothered but being the same price as the regular edition, why not.

I checked the help section on their website and it does state that they will only charge when shipped (day before release 1st class) and that you will only pay what you ordered it at, or less if it reduces in price (doubt that).
Good to see you back with the LE.

Just played the demo and I'm pretty stoked for the game. I'm glad they have a noob-helper, as I'm not too good at racing games. Another game I have to pick up this fall...

Can you paint liveries on cars you do not own in career? or no?
Also, do you still have to buy the LE bonus cars in you career mode or do you get them free?

That looks really good. It's like Little Big Planet but with a usable interface. It's hard to believe there's so much to do besides racing in a racing game and the community aspect is a major drawcard for me - it's just cool to check out what the community does.

not likely. 250GB bundle would have been nice. Carbon fiber finish on the console similar to the PGR3 faceplate or a silver(arrow) finish to show their partnership with Audi

Che, you posted right after the Sedona video, which was a very long time ago. Any chance we can get some more videos? (anything besides the demo, sedona or Fujimi Kaido tracks). Pictures are so....before the internet.

Still no go, tried 2 different cards. I googled the error message and the first results are forums with people trying to order Forza 3 and getting the same message.

MS seems to be moving away from the faceplate, I haven't seen any new one aside from 3rd party and even those are getting far and few. (Console redesign for Natal incoming?)

Anyway, I love that Forza 2 faceplate, I had one on mine system for the longest time. I really wish MS would push Forza 3 more with LE consoles etc and make a big deal out of the releases but it seems all their ad $$ are for Halo.

A Forza LE controller would be awesome...

Well at least in the US we are getting Limited Edition this time around ... last time I have to imported LE from our neighbor to the north.

Talk to local MS store rep couple weeks ago, essentially complaining about MS weak display at PAX and she said MS had cut all promotions, swag and advertising way down this year. That's too bad, consider Sony seems to be revving up their marketing on all front with all kind of pack-in / LE for their flagship titles.

Not in america...we get the Modern Warfare 2 Elite with 250Gig HDD...I pre-ordered one, but I would prefer the Forza 3 one personally.

Yeah, and the Elite one in Europe is just boring black Elite. They want to push Forza as alternative to that other game yet, they sure don't act like it is. Treat it like a big release a la Halo of racing games and may be people will get into the hype. A Forza colors console with pair of orange controller would be hot. I would even imported one if it even was Europe only.

BTW, love that U2 album but it seems, everyone seems to dislike it. I think it's one of their better one.

Good god, the racing feels great... even in the slower cars. You really feel the jostling for position now as the cars have real weight to them.

It's amazing how the LE has dropped in price, either the mark up was HUGE or more shops are willing to lose most of their profit on bulk sales instead.

£55 rrp :lol , I will laugh at people buying it at that price at launch.

Is it me or does the ingame driver turn the wheel much more because you are using a wheel too? all the car's in the demo hardly turn the wheel to steer when using a controller.

The driver seems to match the player with steering degree too, very nice touch.

Yeah its funny isn't it, I think it just stands out more because the in-game hands replicate my movements exactly. I just happen to have them in the right place :)

the game also limits the degree of turning available at high speeds with the pad to make it more controllable, where as with the wheel it will turn as far as you turn it
