The reaction to the incestuous polygamy in the Aegon the Conquerer spinoff will be hilarious. It's certainly a twisted dynamic to explore. If handled correctly it could make the show. Hope they nail the casting. Especially Visenya.

Wait. That's a thing happening? lmao

Because Dany's more likely to not have a problem with that considering her lineage.
she has no family around her now so who knows if she feels the same way her ancestors did about incest. my theory is that yes finding out that Jon is Rhaegar's son will make her want to be even closer with him, but you never know yo.
Because that's a porn story as old as time.
It goes both ways.

Genetic sexual attraction where they get drawn to each other even though they are related due to separation. Then again as you pointed out, they're bloody Targs.

On a slightly serious note, why hasnt Dany found a Valyrian Steel sword?

She wants to rebuild the Targaryien dynasty but (and I'm trying to avoid book talk), wouldn't a conquerer need a Valyrian blade to legitimize their house?

We see Tywin go through the trouble of reforging ICE so that there's 2 family blades.

They spoke about Heartsbane's legacy to the Tarly house. Clearly there is a theme that to be a great house of power you must own a Valyrian blade.

Robert didn't have one when he took the thrown. Most of the houses don't have any, that's why Ned's massive blade was such a big price

She could always take one from one of the houses.

Dany will probably set Dragonstore on fire and emerge from it naked having been turned into a being of pure dragonglass.

Well there's two Targaryian blades, Dark Sister and Blackfyre that you see in the picture above. Both are "lost" somewhere.

It would be interesting if Euron or someone found one during his travels.

I don't see Dany taking one from someone to be honest. She can't fight at all. She would be very awkward carrying a sword.

What's Dany going to do with a sword? Fuck a sword, she's got an A-10 Warthhog in the form of Drogan. She also has flanking Apache attack helicopters in Drogan's siblings lol. What's a sword when you've got air superiority?

Yeah, besides she isnt even the first shitty fighter Targ monarch, the good ones knew how to delegate the swords to people who could use them.

"Oh look at me fancy Valyrian steel sword! Haha, where's your cool looking family heirloom?!"

It's gonna be real sad when all our lil' dragon bois start getting capped by Cersei.
Don't you fucking dare say that! Cersie might as well roll around in marinating spices and get that meat tender for Drogon when he snacks on her later.

Man I'd be madder than even last week. And last week my poor SO had to listen to me rant for about an hour about how much Theon is a fucking jobber so pray that the dragons don't get rekt....pretty sure that's the angriest i've been at a GoT episode.

So with how fast the season is moving, I wonder if Jon will arrive at Dragonstone tomorrow. Can't wait to see that shit, those 2 meeting is like when Jon and Sansa finally saw each other again. It's one of those things you didn't think could actually ever happen.

Don't tell me if the trailer or previews spoiled that.

You know Viserion is a gonner!

Jon and Sansa meeting up did nothing for me. I don't like Sansa, and I don't think I ever will. She also didn't seem all that friendly with Jon like Arya was. So the reunion was meh. But I'm expecting fireworks to go off when Jon and Dany finally meet. Yara x Dany scene is one of my favourite character meet ups. The quips they shot at each other, the glances, the "yes girl" moments, the sexual tension, and that glorious hand shake at the end. I want that and more From Dany and Jon lol.

I don't know what you guys wanted Theon to do. Euron would have slit Yara's throat the minute Theon ran at him, and then he would have killed Theon. Dude got struck multiple times by the Snad Snakes, and it didn't even phase him.

See, that's why I liked that scene a lot. Sansa never really had that big of a connection with Jon, and she always took all of her family for granted, but being away from them for so long, really made her appreciate Jon and the rest. You could tell how happy she was to finally be with another Stark.

Yeah so happy, that within a few short episodes she was talking about how she's the one with the legit Stark name. I noticed that she caught herself before she went full stupid with that sentiment. But it keeps bubbling up for her.

Sansa-Ayra reuniting will be more cathartic for me, both were the last Starks to see Ned alive and saw him executed. Both had tortuous journeys knowing their brothers and mother died trying to save them etc etc.

Any Stark meeting is gonna be awesome, I feel. Which I honestly will happen by the end of the season. I can't imagine Arya misses them for a second time, that would be a little dumb from a story perspective, and I can't imagine Bran will take TOO long to get to Winterfell. I'll be a bit surprised if all the Stars aren't back in Winterfell by the 7th episode.

Not sure if Jon will be back there, though. We might have to wait until season 8 for them to see him.

Ok that first bit was legit touching. I think the reason Sansa irritates me is because I see a lot of what drives me nuts about my own sister in her lol. I think Arya meeting Jon would for sure make me tear up though. As would Dany realising that she isn't alone in this world and that she does have family. Oh wait, does that mean that the Stark kids would also be family by way of Jon for her as well?

Yeah but I'm going to guess not romantically. She's a Targaryen by blood and fire, but she wasn't raised in their house.

If that is true. Why has she been fucking undermining Jon these last two episodes at every chance she got?....

Cus she disagrees with his opinions and feels like he isn't listening to her. It's not like she hate Jon but she's not about to not speak her mind.

I can agree with that. But back in those day and even now it's not something common to undermine your leader in front of the whole group. She should rather have persuaded him 1 on 1.

Sansa is sick and tired of just watching as her family dies. I don't blame her for speaking out if she thinks Jon is making a mistake, she wants him to avoid Ned' s fate.

I haven't seen it from that angle. That is true indeed, cheers. But maybe Jon is just pissed because he never asked to be resurrected and to be King of the North. But I love the fact he apointed Sansa now as his successor while he is gone to fuck with his aunt.

Robb had no one really question him. Look what happened to him.

Nothing official but there are four spinoff series in the works. Robert's Rebellion and Aegon's Conquest make the most sense and have been referenced a lot more in the show lately.
