The show said she lost 2 allies but she had 3.

This was before the Tyrells went down though, and there was literally zero mention of Tarly defection to Dany before the end of the episode.

You guys are really grasping for straws to keep the idea that Dorne is still in the fight when Dany says it herself.

All because you are clinging to the idea that Dany is still a hero when she clearly isn't.

Why haven't we heard from Illyrio? Surely he has funds to send to help Dany. Maybe she doesn't want his help since he helped facilitate her being traded to Drogo.

Oh and the Burlington Bar reactions vids are up. Unfortunately they put some unfunny skit at the beginning of part one so feel free to skip ahead.

Dude they're talking about Yara and Ellaria. Essentially with Dorne they have to figure out what the leadership looks like, meaning they're not available at the moment, and the Greyjoys are smashed. Doesn't mean Dorne has now saddled up with cersei. Tywin Lannister mentions to Oberyn that Dorne refuses to be a part of the seven kingdoms. You think the capture of Ellaria is what made them change their mind?

The armies are what matter, if Dorne still cared she wouldn't have lost an ally. Period. Dorne as a whole doesn't care about a bastard who was a lover of a nobleman.

D&D just wanted an excuse to wash Dorne from the show away cuz of how awful the entire plotline was.

Is "Inside the episode" up for last episode?

It goes up with the episode.

You're being obtuse on purpose now. Ellaria is the ally they are referring to mate. There is a massive, untouched, Lannister hating army in the south. All Dany needs is a leader to put it back in the game. She hasn't lost Dorne, it's just been hit with a cool down. She could send fucking Messandei down to Dorne and they'd follow her if it meant they'd get to kill Lannisters lol.

Since when has allies ever once refered to a singular person in the show? Its always been the Stark, or the Tyrells, never once a single person . If she didn't lose Dorne who gives a fuck if Ellaria got captured, that isn't that important.

But Dany made it very obvious that it was a very bad thing.

So tell me right now who is running Dorne? Ellaria was the ruler of Dorne. One of the Sand Snakes would have been the heir (probably the one caged up with her). So while they sort out the leadership, they can't be played. Also, the invasion plan was known to Ellaria, and she hadn't made it back to Dorne to communicate that to her generals. Why aren't you getting this?

Dany and Co essentially would have to figure out who's in charge now, and draw up new plans. Clearly that throws out whatever planning they had in place while they figure that out.

I know it's nothing concrete, but knocking over the Dorne piece on the table made me think that Dorne is out of play for now. Honestly though, there's not much merit in arguing it. I'm sure we'll find out one way or another if the army takes part in any future battles.

We are never going to see Dorne again on this show. This was D&D's way to rid themselves of the most hated part of the show. For one, there are literally zero introduced characters left in Dorne. They will definitely never come back into the fold.

That's not what you were saying though. You were stating that Dorne is ok with Cersei now. Argh you just changed the goal posts lol.

If D&D somehow ignore an army of that size it would be dumb as fuck. Getting rid of the Sand Snakes doesn't mean they need to get rid of the army. You don't even need them to talk. Just have them march and show up places.

The final battle will probably happen on the snowy beaches of Dorne after the Night King has pushed the good guys as far South as South goes.

They are ok enough with her to bow out of the fight, so no, I didn't move the goalposts.

Honestly, Dany knocking the Dornish chess piece over should be enough to tell you that they are done.

So that was probably one of the best episode of the show.

I didn't feel like fast forwarding anything. Everything had meaning, purpose, and proper pacing.

Enjoyed it a lot.

Dorne's army is in tact and they hate those blonde lion cunts, period. She could send a raven down there, wrap instruction to invade KL by foot around its legs, and the Dornish would be on the move by sunrise. That's how much Dorne hates the Lannisters.

It seems like Dorne would have enough leadership to rally their bannerman and still come to Dany's aide. They would be more than enough to sack KL.

It's over. Dorne is dead. Dany has no more ships left to transport the soldiers.

And if they even tried, Euron would personally take them all out.

Somebody remember if the Nights Watch burned all the wildling bodies after the attack a few seasons back? Or are we gonna see whitewalker Ygritte return?

There's a land route though. If Jaime can march up down Westeros with the Lannister armies, so can Dorne. Absolutely no reason an army of that size is just seuddenly forgotten about.
